Back in the 84 -93 I grew up on 98th and macarthur and shit was crazy I was 4 in 87 and from my early memories I seen ton of crazy shit like when peoples was getting robbed, shot, stabbed for they money and drugs and shit crackheads and prostitutes everywhere you look walking up and down the streets. That 80s/90s crack epidemic had them times crazy as fuck in Oakland that crack had took over my family and friends familys lives, we all grew up hella rough cause of that shit and just glad them horrible days are done and over with but the nightmares still exists from time to time.I will never do my kids how was raised and very thankful they never had to know what it's like to be homeless, not have any food to eat, new clothes or shoes to wear, or even have electricity when you do have a roof over your head. Oakland ain't no joke and when I was going to Morris cox elem they told the kids to watch for a man trying to get kids to get in his car after school when is walk home and shit one time I was almost kidnapped in front of my complex by the same fuck, we were out front walking up to our apts and dude pulled over hella quickly in his car gets out starts yelling at me to come to him and my sister who is 9 yells for me to run to her and get away from the perv car, I'm glad I listened and ran from the dude cause I don't know if I ever would of cause I was scared being so young at the time. I'm glad the fuck didn't move from the driver side of his car to run after me and I told my sister about this couple years ago how she saved my life and she didn't know she saved my life she just remembered me running away from the car but didn't actually know it was cause of her telling me to run that she saved my life
