not gon hold you when styles goes through the artists that he worked with and acknowledged him equally, that shit got me mad emotional because as a kid growing to be a man, there’s nothing more gratifying than being acknowledged accepted and admired by your idols and peers. the confidence it builds makes everything different and not in and arrogant way, it should translate into responsibility to give your best output because you never want to let down anyone that ever vouches for you. sadly for me and a lot of us, i didn’t recognise it until i was much older and not in position to capitalise on it. so even though i didn’t make it as a ball player or writer or photographer, just getting to hear this perspective from styles is everything and even though we come from different places and upbringings, it’s a line that connects all of us as black men. salute to the ghost. math, salute! this is epic.

His portion about death is something I've tried to explain to people but very rarely understand. I lost my mother at 10, grandmother at 20, Male figure at 16, amongst others; you learn that death happens and we can't control it. Just appreciate the time you have with said person and yourself.
