You really have a facility for mixing familiar with unfamiliar ingredients, Satoshi! This combination sounds delicious, especially with pork. The saltiness and sweetness of miso must enhance the smokiness and spiciness of the BBQ rub. Yum! Thank you for the interesting and informative series. 👍

I don’t mix spices very well. That makes a lot of sense the salt and sweet. I’m excited to try this recipe. It looked so good now I’m hungry.

This looks delicious!!! I would use this marinate also for my eggplant and onion stir fry. Since the bbq spice mixes so well with the miso I wonder how it is in miso soup.

That pork chop looked delicious. I'm glad you're having a fun time with all the different spices. And there's a song that was out (back in the day) called Boombastic by Shaggy. There's a line in it where he says "she call me Mr. Boombastic, tell me fantastic..." That spice package made me think of that song. 😆

Greetings from San Antonio, TX. I have various types of miso as well as bbq sauce in my fridge. Next time I grill some pork or most likely chicken, I'm going to mix some miso and bbq sauce. If I get to it in the next week, I'll check back with results. Thanks for the idea!

That looked absolutely delicious! I love your Japanese twist to those pork chops. Is it a certain kind of miso that you use? I’m definitely going to try this dish I have pork chops in my freezer. I was just looking at them. Thank you for sharing your spice challenges. I love watching your recipes. 🤗

Love you ✨✨but again Ankerkraut which sold themselves (destroying their good reputation) to Nestle and lost lots of support and contracts in Germany. Please do different brands and recipes in future, take care❤️❤️❤️
@plejade41252 жыл бұрын
I‘m dissapointd too from the brand but they are now going internationally. People don‘t know about the scandal and we should not judge, on the other hand Nestle and their KitKat are loved in Japan. So even we hate Nestle that much and we see it as a sad story behind Ankerkraut and how a little company with a good heart had sold their soul, we can‘t expect the same from other people in other countries. I take Satoshis wonderful twist on European spice mixtures as a great inspiration for myself and will try them too (with a different brand but they all taste good and kinda similar) oh and at the end: don‘t bite your feeding hand. Could be worse than a spice company.
