While I was walking one weekend, I saw a few of these cams set up, but I didn't know they were for this video until I saw the "Pop Up Video" about it. If you slow it down you can probably see my dumb face looking into the cameras.

Nearly four years younger than I am, right now! Time is weird, or rather, "the perception of time". As of right now 2024 everything is $hit, and ten years ago it was the same! But in 97 the $hit was completely different than in 92! Smaller increments of time held more drastic style changes back in the day.

I’m 29 turning 30 in 6 months. I’m really nostalgic. Lately I’ve been being emotional about letting my youth go, probably coz I’m turning 30 soon. I’m in denial about getting older and it hurts. And listening to songs like this make it worse. Songs like these are blankets to my soul. I just want to wrap myself in it, close my eyes and go back to being a kid. I was happier as a kid, more blissful, and ignorant in the best way possible. Does anyone else relate?

This song brings me back to being 19 and the fall of my first semester at college, this song would come on in my car after leaving my boyfriends house late at night after us “becoming one” the crisp fall air, raining leaves and simpler times of my youth. Bell bottom skinny stretchy pants, Marlboro lights , dark red nail polish, Tommy Girl perfume, scrunches, and the days before cell phones. Oh 1990s how I long for you and my college days. This song always evokes those sweet memories for me.

Can we just appreciate a pop song about sex that isn't sexualized. The girls are dressed normally and just performing. No revealing outfits or provocative dances. Just a good emotionally driven song about coupling with a good message at the end; "be a little bit wiser baby, put it on, put it on."

I was 9 yrs old when The Spice Girls bursted onto the scene and remember them having hit after hit and their music video's always being on MTV, tv appearances. Now aged 34 i can't help think how much success they got so quick and how talented they were. Not only could they sing but they could also write songs as well and the amount of production that went into their songs is mindblowing. They really worked with some of the best out there.
@leeriches88413 жыл бұрын
They conquered the world at the right point in time- back when we had to physically go out and buy their music, we had to wait for their official magazine to see what they were up to, we were so excited to see what they would do next and wait for the latest product to hit the shelves. All of that added to the excitement. Everything is too instant these days, social media tells us every little thing about everything- there's no surprises anymore. I remember hearing a rumour Victoria cut her hair before the Spiceworld Tour and having to wait a couple of days to see exclusive photos in magazines- these days there would be hairdresser videos. I loved knowing they were performing at an awards ceremony or some foreign show and having to wait to hear about it and see what they were wearing in the newspapers the next day. Not being able to hear new songs until they were released was brilliant. It really kept us waiting in anticipation and kept the excitement bubbling.
