@Skunky Stinkerson When the only Spice Girl to share a name with an actual spice (Ginger) left, it wasn't going be the same. But seriously, the vibe was different without her spunkiness and girl power attitude. The remaining four Spice Girls started off making some pretty good songs in their signature style around the time of this video (1999), but sadly they were scrapped and they changed producers and went for a more urban style album in the vein of "Holler". The song itself is good, but it just didn't suit them for an entire album like that.

These ladies got the world under their feet’s for over a decade and couldn’t handle it her first song is the only song in the world to be peaked at #1 in over 160 countrys upon its release. No other artist has done this kind of thing. Some of them try to over shadow the others and also the pressure of their record label but spice girls was the girl band u will never see again

Its sad a lot of fans hate on Forever. The girls had children, grew up and wanted a new sound. Tell Me Why, Some Fun, Groove With Me are excellent, could've been hit singles esp in the states! The R&B vibe was present in prior albums...idk why fans thought it came out of nowhere. They wanted the girls to do the same campy Ginger gig but they evolved.

I honestly don’t know why people say Victoria couldn’t sing. She was the only one who was 100% on top of her game during this performance. Even Mel C, who is commonly regarded as the strongest singer of the bunch, really flubbed the end while Victoria was pitch perfect through the entire performance. It wasn’t dubbed either because there are slight variances from the recorded version.

@Dominika Becmer exactly. Geri did a lot for lyrics, the look and icon status of the Band but not much vocally or performance wise. It's a conundrum. Had she not worn the union jack or been the leader in terms of Girl Power and such, the band likely would've been a 4 piece and Love Thing would be the first single.... Had this happened lets say, I'd assume the Forever era would be where they reached world domination versus in 1997. Ginger was instrumental and hands on, but the "talent" of the group in terms of voice/dance was not due to her

Well, she was likely high as a kite. This was during the time when her mental health was in the toilet to put it mildly, and she was having a drug and alcohol problem, I guess to sort of cope with it.
