Ah yes, one of those songs I still listen to incessantly like it's 2000 again lol. "Holler" is the UK lead single from SG's third album, Forever (2000); the song was a commercial success, topping the UK Singles Chart and becoming the Girls' ninth number-one single in the region. This resulted in giving them the record for being the girl group with the most number-one singles. Please react to Spice Girls - "Too Much."

Spice girls...from England? Lol...yeah and the greatest selling girlband of time...the spice girls were the 2nd biggest musical phenomenon of all time behind the beatles...bigger than one direction, bigger than Justin beiber..they were EVERYWHERE over night 0-100, commercials, toys, books sooo much merchandise, endorsements ..it was more than you could even imagine , the cultural impact..they were huuuugeee

Thankfully this isn’t the majority of their catalog. This song came out in 2000, them trying to fit the scene that was dominated at the time by Destiny’s Child, Britney and Christina. The whole “Forever” album was produced by American producers, which was a departure from the signature style from their previous two albums “Spice” from 1996 and “Spiceworld” from 1997. Geri Halliwell was also gone, and she was a very big influence in their sound.

I love Victoria Beckham vocals. This song served as inspiration for Victoria's solo album. Pure R&B and soft music

This was their comeback song after going solo It was rushed though as Mel C kept putting if off as she struggled with weight issues and was not happy with herself in this video or around the 2000-2004 Song is still good Though Geri vocals are not missed her presence is

The first album, Spice, is very r&b influenced. They were listening to TLC a lot at the time and you can hear that in a lot of their album tracks. They were pioneers of urban pop. Their first album is not as pop as many think.
@kerronwalker15894 ай бұрын
Right its actually has alot of different genres in that first album, spice world was definitely more pop oriented but even then they still had elements of jazz and r&b in it. Something kind of funny is an absolute favourite of that first album, love that song also say youll be there and who do you think you are, are crazy follow up singles to the pop sound of wannabe honestly. Suprised mel c didnt head down the r&b route more, mel b definitely is underrated in that area her first album was a bop.

Love this song, this was produced by Darkchild. The concept if the video is supposed to be the 4 elements. As you see the vid you'll notice which one is which.

3:56 this song was trash overproduction. The song is good for pop radio in America. This is when Geri left and they're using American producers to be the best of the best. It was definitely working, yeah?

Alot of the spice girls album tracks were rnb esp the first album but real authentic rnb no generic knock off like this...the only generic rnb song like this that was actually good was no scrubs by tlc now that's a great song

Respectfully disagree. I don’t think The Spice Girls could _ever_ sound authentically R&B. ✌🏽
