I'm from Gateshead and me and my fiance love itza pizza. The pizza isn't greasy like a lot of places. We have tried a few places and this is our go to place. The grilled chicken kebab with a pitta bread is lush too and they do a lovely chip. Would definitely recommend

I think you're spot on when you day that the food is made with a lot more passion. While fundamentally it's still a chicken shop they put effort and care into their meals and not just expect people to consume cos they're drunk or don't know better. It's because people who frequent spice hut and other bengali owned and run chicken shops are generally people who need a reason to eat out as home cooked food always tastes so good anyway!
