It's the best Id in game rn (from my extensive personal testing and discussion among me and my fellows), and combined with his EGO selection he is absolutely worth always running. Notably, he can hit for the highest damage in game with his s3 and god forbid they ever give us an actually good sinking support unit. he is on the same tier as RHeath and Nclair, and I perceive him as ever so slightly above the other two since he has literally no inherent downsides like Nclair and RHeath's Negative sanity and Ammo count respectively

I think sinking suffers from the same issues as rupture right now where it's just too hard to sustain even with a pure rupture comp due to the lack of rupture COUNT skills. I hope they add something like a nerfed version of the dry chicken breast ego gift down the line for sinking and rupture because that actually made rupture super fun to use. I totally agree, his 'downsides' are either very faint or much more manageable than other top tier units. Plus he occupies a niche yet (very) powerful space that makes him worth running in most cases.

He can't compare with R Heath. His values can't clash with more difficult MD2 Hard skills, he can't set up his s2 for AoE damage in 1 turn until he gets 2 slots and his only support value for the team is the SP reduction, that usually won't help against bosses, since they tend to be abnormalities. He's decent in mobbing scenarios or abnormalities with a bunch of adds due to his AoE s2 and he can deal high damage, but he's nowhere near W Don or R Heath. Both of them apply Fragile, which benefits the entire team and they have relatively high speed, with EGOs that perfectly set up their skills. R Heath might run out of ammo in longer fights, but outside of certain encounters like My Form Empties, you usually won't get to that point and even then, R Heath can allow you to skip most of the annoying karma phase. You'll have a hard time supporting him, there's nothing that supports tremor count gain. He's fairly self-sufficient, but his damage pales when compared to those other two. Sinking currently doesn't help much either, as mentioned before, it can't be sustained properly. He's definitely one of the better units, but calling him the best Id in the game is a bit too much. I'd like to see his s3 dealing more damage than charged Rip Space or Quick Suppression with enough speed, but I rather doubt there's any scenario where that is the case. W Don will outperform him in just about any scenario, as long as you have the resources for Telepole.

Literally startee playing Limbus ( was one of the first day player but i played on steam so i started over with google account) i got this identity on my 2nd 10 pull, i wasn't aware on how much stronger he is until i reached chapter 3 and doing mirror dungeon... Went ahead to try to max lvl him to 30 ASAP

You can get a pretty good sinking based team by bringing spicy Sang and Reigndeer Ishmael. Since her skill 1 and 3 inflict 1 sinking per hit, it works pretty well. But she really shines with her skill 2 inflicting 3 count. From there, weirdly, Rodion goes well. No sinking ID, but Rime Shank applies 3 count in an aoe or corrodes to deal 6 count to a single target. I personally bring Kuro because she doesn't attack very much with her low coin counts, which makes her less of a drain on sinking count. Maraca Sinclair is pretty alright to go all in on sinking, and spesifically umbrella heathcliff's skill 1 is good because when used on an enemy without sinking, a tails hit on the last coin will leave them with 2 sinking and 3 sinking count. Additionally, his counter skill being wrath allows him to generate a ton of those resources if you can keep him healed up.

Dimension shredder just does insane damage by itself, even with identities that have no charge synergy due to its ego passive and multipliers on hit, so naturally it's a great choice on spicebush yi sang. However given the choice, I do think sunshower's aoe potential and utility beats it out for spicebush yi sang's HE slot despite its sheer damage.

Well, coming back to this after FISH-mael, yeah Spicy boy has only gotten better, an easy 7/5 sinking with a skill 3 from fishy, or a skill 2 for just 5 extra, and skill 1 for count work as well. I would love this combo. If I had Spicebush, but alas, I got blade lineage. Amazing. Anyway. Our boy has only gotten better.

Brand new player, somehow managed to get both this and his lineage blade identity as my first x10, figured I'd tier 3 him right off the bat and I did, but now I wanted to learn more... I'm confused as to how his 3rd skill functions, I've been having tremor at like 6 counts and the bonus still triggers, is it a error in the text or is there something more that I just don't know yet? Another note: I did manage to also get sunshower heathcliff off the yi sang banner as well, though as a new player is it worth combining them in a team? Given that from what I've heard sunshower heathcliff is designed to be an insanity based counterer?

hmm did you have 6 tremor count before you started combat? because then you would've gotten 6 extra count on s3 use and had enough to proc to bonus. Otherwise, it's hard to tell without a video sorry :c Sunshower heath and spicebush yi sang mostly just have sinking in common which is pretty difficult to take advantage of as stacks just fall off so quickly. However, spicebush is a very strong ego and sunshower heathcliff is pretty good in md2 hard, so I think it's worth it to run them both!

so yi sang’s sunshower is on the current season's battle pass, which means you have to buy it then max it out to get it or wait till season 3. when it will become available for purchase in the dispense tab. Hope that helped!

ah yes, another free add with no synergy with other characters necessary to be good. Love to see it. Here's the list so far: Bunnyman WDon Grippy Faust Nclair Spicy Boi Just need 2 more for the freest mirror of mirror team of my life (Liushmael lookin really strong with the final skill power but the burn IDs other than Nclair just don't have enough coin power rn so mirror of mirrors is kinda iffy for her. Haven't picked her up yet tho so I haven't put it into practice) Also just as an aside, for IDs like wet dog or the Shi association IDs, even if they can be incredibly strong when you're able to bring out their full potential, the fact that it takes so much effort to get there and carefully maintain the sp/hp just becomes such a huge chore that it's not worth it. I'd rather just bring nclair and faust and spam representation emitter rather than try and carefully manage the sp on wet dog just so he can either instantly corrode because I accidentally got to like 50 sinking or literally can't lose sp because I can't build up sinking at all.

yep, I think liushmael is definitely another one for the free mirror dungeon party so now we just need 1 more, although I think 7 outis or kk/tt honglu fit the bill pretty well. Sadly yeah, when you have goodstuff ids like these, it kinda leaves other ids for mostly challenge or meme runs. But those are still fun! I'm planning on trying md2 hard with a poise comp fishing for poise ego gifts. We desperately need a taunt mechanic for units like wet dog heath or any meursault id
