Personally, it's quick suppression. Fragility on first two hits, synchronizes well with Grip Faust and it's potential isn't too rough to set up. It is inconsistent and random but coupled with the identity as a whole it's very powerful. This is coming from someone who runs MD so rip ass doesn't get to pop off that much, three turn fights are a rarity. In normal battles it can be fueled easily with body sac and the fragility fucks any survivors.

I consider Rabbit and Ninclair's third skills to be on the same level personally but Ninclair often enough doesn't hit all 3 tails due to the fact that you don't want his SP to be too low, so Quick Supression is more consistent. Out of all of these the only real condition is to have 6+ speed (guaranteed with Bodysack which isn't hard to get resources for) and hitting all heads which is extremely likely on 45 SP which is the norm

Ting Tang has nothing over kuro S2. Kuro always has its extra coins while TT doesnt. You can make the argument of TT having more consistency with its three coins but when does and enemy ever have 4 bleed when you're attacking it unless you have a bleed team. Even if you do might as well slot him into a damage team cuz he'll probably do more damage than the bleed.

Something to consider is offense levels of skills. Not saying it’s feasible to include in the calculations since enemy defense ratings can vary wildly but setting an enemy defense to 35 can mean the difference between 3% extra damage (R Ishmael) and 30% extra damage (R Heath).

In the clashing zone Mutilate damage is very meh, it's a better clasher than anything else. Even on Reuse, which doesn't happen all the time and the targeting of which is inconsistent, it's only ~70-80 damage, is just not enough to compensate for the pain it is to use for damage. In normal circumstances it does just 37, and even his S2 does more than that.

As far as strongest skill 3 goes, I think that ease of use really is tbe deciding factor for me rather than minmaxing. I almost never use wcorp don or rcorp ishmael anymore since its just too much work when i can instead just slap bunnyman, Nclair, lccb Ish, and the chef in there and click winrate to get similar results. Obv for harder content, minmaxing might be better, but atm there's really no reason not to just throw the strongest 5 no-setup characters into a team and let them run wild. (I havent run any of the new content yet because I'm on vacation and my phone is potato and can only collect dailies that don't start combat. So I might eat my words when I get home)

I completely agree, that's why ease of use had so much weight in my analyses next to raw damage. After all, being able to bring out near full potential of one skill easily means fewer resets needed to pull the most out of your other, more finicky skills

​@@StraisinLCB One skill 3 that makes me sad is that it seems like tt hong lu's skill 3 doesn't properly recast in abno fights. I'm guessing it's due to how target selection works in abno fights since if you assign an attack to an enemy that dies it simply doesn't cast the skill. If pm fixes that specific interaction I'd probably be willing to call tthl s3 the best s3 because of pure kill potential rather than pure dmg

another thing that makes this more confusing is depending on the starting attack values and etc affecting when in the attack an enemy will stagger if they werent already. for example with rcorp ishmael youll have attack power from her passive and her skill explicitly increases the stagger threshold by a super high amount. also part of why mutilate is so good bcus it has the ton of multihits to break the enemy's stagger before the nuke

Pretty sure that's not how mutilate works. If you stagger an enemy that endures slash with the second "subhit", the rest of them will still be "endured". Same thing applies to all skills that hit multiple times per coin.

Mutilate is a single coin and will not benefit from being the staggering hit. The multi-hit aspect is just a visual. True multi-hits in this game come in the form of extra coins.

The highest sanity I’ve hit is ~30 most of the time. I would say the nerfs hit anybody with multi hit skills SUPER hard like it’s impossible for them to be consistent now (ironic considering how one of the most “inconsistent” identities is the most consistent in the game now)

I think grippy faust is def moving up, n corp Sinclair even after the sanity buff is still going into ninclair tier and everybody that needs to roll heads is still probably moving down a little.

I really think PM should change the pattern of multiple instances of damage in one coin. The best example is 3rd coin of The Gripping, N Faust's 2nd skill. Like, if I break the stagger threshold with first of ten instances of damage, why the other nine are implemented as if the STAGGERED I just saw and did never happened?

The attack animation is just an animation. Even if the different coins are broken up into different amounts of damage from their animations, it's still all added up to the same value in the end. Visually it's weird but statistically that's how it works.
