If the government can register an association by the name "rapists association of kenya" as a legitimate organization if the applicants for the registration claim that they merely want to advocate for the rights of reformed rapists, then by all means they should register the LGBTQ association. @@u-know-this and just to be clear, I am not denying their existence even though the act itself is illegal, after all, you can not police morality. But that doesn't mean they should be given legal recognition because the act is still against all our collective cultures as Kenyans. Prostitution is illegal and has been known to be illegal since independence. And although the illegality of prostitution has not hindered the trade much, the fact that it is still illegal ensures that certain boundaries of social behavior are not outrightly crossed. The same goes for lesbianism and homosexuality.

I teach in high school in the USA and have students that began thinking they were homosexual as early as 5th grade having not committed any acts yet but having a mind to commit acts at some point. Registration of the association is required for them to register their members, open and operate bank accounts, maintain financial records, solicit for and receive funds for their operations, etc. What's illegal is the act of two or more members engaging in acts of sexual perversion. Secondly why should it matter to me what two consenting adults are engaged in within the privacy of their bedrooms if they are not invading my space or stepping on my toes? There are too many people invading my space and stepping on my toes everyday for me to start prying into the privacy of other people's bedrooms. We come across it even in the days of Lot in the Bible. Gid created the world to be a mixture of Good and Evil, so that human beings are called upon to choose. Appreciation and joy of Good can only be felt if one is acutely aware of the pain that comes with Evil. The beauty of Light is loudly felt when one is aware of the sadness of darkness. Etc, etc, etc. It is a part of the grand divine design. Therefore, fear not the presence of LGBTQ, after all they gave been there from Lot's days. But instead take up the challenge to fortify your children/family with divine wisdom to be able to face realities of life and choose wisely.
