Cab has way more pros than cons. In climates with extreme temperatures and weather, the heater or AC is amazing in a cab. I use my Kioti CK27 to snowblow in the winter in Wyoming and its been great. It's the perfect size to keep a 500' driveway clear and fit in the barn to clear out the stalls as well as the garden to till. This thing is so useful and an excellent value.

Nice 1 year review on your CK. I have the 3510 with Cab. Overall very satisfied with mine after 1 year. I agree with your critique points. I have noticed the fogging problem in mine. I have run it with AC on to 'dry out' the air in the cab with success. I'll try changing my vent positions to see if better results. Like you, I had an open station JD and took some adjustment to the cab reducing my visibility. Now I am familiar and have learned how to position the bucket and attach points and where to look. Not a big deal anymore and the cab is simply awesome to have if you live in 4 seasons. Make sure you keep your radiator and screens clean. I was brush hogging one day and they got caked over and my AC couldn't keep the cab cool. After cleaning them out AC returned to normal. The cab work lights are poor (35w halogen) and I just ordered LEDs units to replace. I've come to really appreciate all the standard capabilities and features the Kioti comes with compared to JD. Also, the specs are that much better. The 3E and R series Deeres can only lift 1100-1300. Kioti CK's are good for 1800. 3 pt lift better. Kioti is heavier than JD. I don't understand why JD doesn't at least match these specs by now. I really liked my previous JD but when time to upgrade to a cab the JD was at a minimum $10K more and many options like rear remotes not included. Just can't justify. Thanks again for review. I'll put one of my own up eventually and show what I have done with it. Happy New Year!

I have always adjusted it from inside the cab. But by the way your describing it, sounds like you don't have a quick hitch. I can usually back up and grab the implement and reach out the back window and flip the locking levers on the quick hitch without getting out of the tractor. DK is a nice tractor. I personally like the CK for me because its easier on the lawn when im doing work close to the house. Hi, I know this video is a little older, but I was also experiencing a jerking/chattering problem with my 3 point hitch on a 2017 CK2610 that ive had since new. Just this year I figured out it was the way I was lifting the hitch. For whatever reason, if I just take the 3 point lever selector and move it directly to the spot I want, it does not jerk at all. If you want it all the way up, just pull the lever all the way to that position. It's almost like it has pre-designed spots in the height range selection. Try it out, let me know if it works for you.

Did your dealer understand that you’d use the tractor for mowing a 7 acre field? What worries me about the 1000-3000 series JD tractors is their all too small for their HP. All brands have these issues. The old Ford Red Belly Tractors had this issue. The N series tractors ranged from 20 -30hp. After the 600-800 series started the HP jumped but the weight did change that much. Many an old time farmer will tell you horror stories about operating them.

I used to plow snow with an open station Farmall C. I bought this one because I wanted a cab with heat. I don't care about A/C, I only use it in winter. Re: fuel capacity How many hours does it take you to brush hog the 7 acre field? I get 12 hours out of a tank (7 US gal.) with a 2012 CK27hst plowing snow. I used to get only ten then I did some exhaust work to it. Now I get 12. Mine is chained up on all 4 corners. I run 20 lbs air in the loaded rears and 35 lbs in the front. My ride is brutal thanks to the chains. I think your rears are too hard.

I have my own complaints with kioti but the fuel tank and size I actually like. The DK is on the side and they had issues with splitting and being damaged when brush hogging. I put 3 light bars on my kioti 2610. Kioti also includes the steering in gpm hydraulic flow, it's really 60% of advertised. And yeah the 3 point is Jerky, I had to fine tune mine w lever under seat. I also have an open station which I like and stand up to hook up to forks and grapple
