Added heat shrink to my door catches so they don't squeak. Added rubberized tape to the seat mounts to stiffen them up.

I own a 2022 Troy Lee Designs Polaris General awesome machine, sound system drowns out the squeaks and rattles.

I have the same 23 General but not ride command. My seats are also noisy but nowhere near as loose as your passenger one. Id show that video to your dealership and see if they can help. As i told you earlier I had a couple of issues with mine when new transmission leak and loud rattling sound in back. Dealer fixed both new vehicle issues and I now have 80 hours on it and love it.

Move the seat back and it won't do that. Mine does it but only when the seat is forward

For door latch squeaks and rattles...wrap a few layers of duct tape around the latch pin. Did all four doors on my XP4 and the results are excellent.

My son bought a 2023 general ultimate. In three months the oil pump went out and list the motor. We had extended warranty and all the maintained records and had to fight the dealer to fix it. Had to call the corporate office and after alot of deliberation they agreed to fix it, when I go to pick it up they tried to charge me one thousand dollars to do the pm or put the oil back in it. Now shifter cable broke and it’s only been risen for about seven months and I guess we will have to go at it again to get this fixed. No more for me

On my 2022 General 1000 XP I had that rattle also. I adjusted the passenger door locking mechanism bar where the latch connects to the body, and that took care of it. I think there were a couple adjustment screws if I recall.

Same things with our 2022 1000 4. Seats and floor drains. I bet there is a dozen drains between skids and the frame.

I can answer the how quite is engine noise in cab question , it’s best in class, I’ve owned rmaxx and cammander, Polaris general has them both beat in cab engine noise, and the don’t have the heat build up in cab like older commanders had, great machines wish I still had mine

My parents have a 2020 Xp 4 and it rattles for sure, but it’s so comfortable for long rides. Looking to buy one soon since all we do is go camping. That mini ex is badass though!

I’ve never been impressed with the Polaris quality. The last brand new one I bought I sold after a month. Compared to the can-ams I’d had it just felt chincy and like it was going to break. I have a Kawi now and not sure what’s next.

Put the seat all the way back and it won't rattle. Mine only does it when the seat is all the way forward. Get the one way rubber floor drains, they are awesome. Trust me, I have to do a shi. Ton of fixes, repairs etc to mine and it's a 2023 XP 4. The attention to detail and the piss poor design are hard to swallow, especially for what we pay for them. You would think that if I can come up with a fix on my own, someone that manufacturers them could do it before they leave the factory. Just sayin.

It has been at the dealership a ton, most of what has been taken care of by Polaris under faulty/factory defect. If you don't believe me, look up my file, it speaks for itself. Polaris, themselves have extended my warranty for free and have taken care of me. So if you take it personally, talk to your warranty department before trying to belittle me.

My General seats are older, yours look like RZR seats with diff badging. The General Seats I have are alot diffrent then yours and do not make any noise at all BUT they do move around like yours.

Mines the same, all in all a gigantic POS!!!! Bought it new, had it back to the dealer AT LEAST a dozen times within the first 3 months to fix various fitment, rattles and mechanical issues. After that, I said enough is enough and handed it back to the dealer, much to their dismay. But with that many DOCUMENTED by the dealership issues, they had no choice but to hand me a check for a refund. Took the check and went and bought a Can-Am and couldn't be happier. Although the Can-Am does have some plastic panels that leave a little to be desired as far as they way they fit, but other than that, night and day better than that POS general.

in my opinion, polaris has been making cheaper and cheaper rigs for the last 10 years, and charging more for them. Real problem is however there are people like you that are willing to pay that much for less every year. as a business model polaris loves this, quit buying them and polaris will change their ways.

My Polaris sucks list is way bigger than yours about 4,000 mile and the money pit kicks in 10,000 and pretty much shot rebuilt engine, trans steering rack several wheel bearing several drive shafts keep bending, axle splines to trans and diff garbage,diff garabage, only happy Polaris owners are ones that don't ride, changed all fluids evey 500 mls never in deep water or mud and drive like they're to be driven clutches garbage ,STM primary and secondary lasted 3 times longer i now have 16,680 wouldn't recommend a Polaris period Honda would be my next machine hands down.

Polaris hasn't changed much of how they construct these things. My 2015 900 XC is about the same as this General inside, except there seems to be more room because of that reason I haven't upgraded to a newer machine. There is, however something that has me thinking hard, the new XP 1000 Ultimate.
