I feel like this would play during the ultimate climax of a theoretical final splatoon story mode. Something that would threaten the world on a global scale. But it wouldn’t just be the Squid Sisters singing. Off the hook, the idols in splatoon three, and various glimpses of the over 20 countries in Splatoon’s universe would also be celebrating. Cheering Agent 3, Agent 4, Agent 8, and any other agents involved in the story on as they saved the world one last time. can you tell i’m hyped for the third game and it’s potential

In my headcannon, whenever any version of the legendary Calamari Inkantation is sung by these two, whoever they consider friends or allies are given an immense boost in morale, strength, will and stamina, boosting them to the point where they are almost unstoppable. As for enemies, their will is sapped and their morale drops like a stone in water. Think of it like Battle Meditation from the Star Wars Old Republic games. This is at least in my viewpoint anyways...

@@Suuperwuuper octarians are all technically good in nature, they are just following the law and rules of their land, which isn’t necessarily an evil thing. Some of our laws would be considered evil in the eyes of aliens. The inkantation just gives them insane levels of inspiration, and makes them realise there’s more in life than the rules they had been following and makes them yearn for more. Octarian society as a whole isnt really evil, and neither is octavio considering releases octolings are still fond of him (marina has an octavio sticker on her laptop and 8 references how she wish she had more time in the mem cake)

Imagine if there was a extra Octavio boss fight but a lot harder, harder than splatoon 1. He would summon new enemies that use specials like splashdown and booyah bomb. And maybe some auto bombs that last a little longer than the original and the theme song was this. The true final story mode battle. Saving the zap fish once and for all. And a little cutscene with Agent 3 who was watching in the background, looking very proud.
