What's funny is I can't quite pinpoint the exact reason I watch Taylor videos. I started because I had a random interest in what life in NYC was like for the average person, but even after she moved away from that content, I keep staying. I'm vaguely intrigued by how one grows a youtube channel, I still enjoy the vlogs about NYC, the Q&As never disappoint to give me an idea I want to try for myself, and the general cozy vibes are relaxing. I like that the videos are never exactly the same, I like that they aren't too often, I like that there's no schedule.

I'm different from you. I liked it better when she posted on average once a week even while she was working 9/5. When she quit her corporate job, she started posting LESS frequently. I've found if I don't see someone posting at least once a week, I eventually stop watching. Hasn't happened with Taylor yet but I'm afraid the less she posts, the less interested I am.

I think I stumbled upon Taylor's videos when I was gathering info for a trip to NYC then, since she's so easy on the eyes, I kept watching but also because she had a couple videos on personal finance so I subscribed, now I am always excited to see her next one just because I always want to hear ger take on personal finance and/or investing.

Taylor is one of those creators where I just hit the like button before I even watch the video. I really love your videos, and even though I live in such a different place (Lisbon) there are definitely so many parallelisms that I find between life in NYC as a 20-somethings person vs in Lisbon (or probably any other "big" city really). If you're looking for a place to go, a really good place is "Canadian Rockies" during the summer, it's super beautiful. It's too cold during the winter. You can google it and you can check out possible tour groups and possibly film up there too. :)

1:47 You make a good point here, there is freedom in the 'bondage' of structure. No more micro-guess work and unnecessary doubts that weigh on you emotionally and sometimes cumulatively. Being easy to please is actually a good thing in a social setting, you are appreciative by nature which is beneficial for you and helps a lot with making good friends :D In a career setting it might not be so useful, but I'm sure you've got that balanced out well.

Regarding burning out, it finds me from day to day, i cant even recognize whether it is my common mood or my mental & physical state. I'm trying my best to keep myself fit, distract my thoughts and intentions with my hobbies etc. The only thing that I wanna say is that whenever my mood is on the edge of returning to my average negative turtle state, i always remember the type of person you are. I wish i had all these energy and even by remembering some stuff, my smile comes to me out of nowhere. it really helps me including your pieces of advices 🐢💌

I 'live' in my office 9 hours 5 days a week I do want to change the situation but also need to put food on the table. That is the reason why I like your video and life so much. I had been studying and working in big cities for almost 10 years during my 20s, and the pushy feelings I received were totally different from life now (back to my hometown and being laid-back), I like now, even though inside of me like being young and living a busy and fulfilling life. In other words, you are creating your own marketing agency, congratulations! I would add the design and recording of events, they can be corporate events (Product or Service Launch, Brand Events, Fairs and Exhibitions), but it would be more later, it will be interesting to see your blog work. Regarding your travel blogs, you have to understand that there is a lot of competition, one group focuses on cheap but great experiences, others on luxury experiences, others make a documentary of the trip, from arriving at the airport to the entire experience, others tell anecdotes and funny moments of the trip, you have already made travel videos, look at the comments and look for a way or your own style to tell that experience, maybe you like the way another youtuber does it, you take it as a reference and add more things from Taylor Bell.

Then there is people in the middle of full on freedom and corporate life, called the “Hybrid” job lol! Personally I love that I get a little of both and if you can balance it well for me now I wouldn’t want my career any other way. P.S I work as an account executive for a tech company and work from home and/or on appointments throughout the day about 80-90% of the time but I check in with my boss generally once a day or more depending and have teams (virtual) meetings 1-2 times weekly with my corporate colleagues and upper management. And I go to my company office 1-2 a week usually or sometimes not at all, just depends. But I love it! The key is consistency and once you find your groove; a good daily schedule that keeps you focused and productive. I agree with you and for me I get way more done at home then at the office!
