This November makes 4 years since my dad passed (he passed at 44) and that emptiness/ difference that you speak of, I know it all so well. I knew it would never get better but you just reminded me 😢 I pray for continuous strength & courage to all who are daily carrying on without a parent 🙏🏾

I know how hard it is to lose your dad...i lost mine on 1/7/2014... and i was blessed with a beautiful granddaughter on 1/7/2021. Life is ahort so definitely make the most of it while youre still on earth.

Loss of loved ones breaks our heart and reminds us how vulnerable we are, we appreciate life more. I was hurt on the job when I was 31 and lost my left leg above the knee, I definitely feel more empathy than I did when I was 21. It will be 26 years in July and I still have big emotions when I see someone else hurting.

Big hugs🤗🤗🤗 I lost my dad 14 years ago on August 16. Not a year goes by that I don't think of him and miss him terribly. I completely changed after he passed too. It's so wonderful that you have good people in you life though. Definitely cherish those friendships 💞🤗

It has been almost 15 years since my moms passing. I would love to say it gets easier, but I truly believe we just adapt to their absence. Every year her birthday or angelversary comes around, the grief seems to come around more often!!! I miss her everyday💔 but I know her spirit is always going to be with me❤️ I hope the memory of your dad helps you get through this tough time🩷🫂

Thank you for sharing. I lost my Dad when I was 19 and he was 47, it took years to heal. It was in 1984. On March 30th I lost my little boy fur baby and I cannot believe the grief. I loved him more than anything. There will always be a hole for him too. I was sick for the last several years but since he passed I am fighting for my health and getting better. I am not going to let him die in vain. I am also moving to a new state, I've been unhappy here for awhile. 💙
