I love the extra wide FOV chest mount, it really gives you the sense that you're riding the bike. I've got a Hero 9 with the wide lens mod on my helmet and I find it's still not nearly wide enough, especially if I stand up all you see is the front fender even recording in 4:3. What mode are you using the X2 in for the chest camera? I've never used a 360 camera before so unsure how they are to work with. Oh and also does the horizon lock also lock in the up/down axis? That would really help with seeing gradients on camera.

ABS is a nice safety cushion for new and experienced riders alike. On 250's and cruisers it matters less I feel because generally their brakes aren't super powerful, but on a sport bike or adv bike (not KLR's and DR's, I mean more like R1200's and Tigers which have sport bike brakes) it's easy to grab too much in a panic situation even if you're experienced. especially in the rain. I very rarely trip them even in a panic situation but every once in awhile in a panic situation I feel it kick and it makes me happy knowing that that little 2 second screw-up didn't cost me anything. When you put on a lot of miles you're bound to have a hiccup here and there when emergency braking.

Fish eye on your lid cam is more ferocious than usual. It's really noticeable when looking left/right that there's a flat spot in the middle then the lens bends it more and more towards the edges. Also, momentum and let her squirm. Just be loose. Thinking about that, how is this bike to stand up on?

I've recently got a lexmoto tempest 125cc just for a run around I've owned many bikes over the years big and small this is the first bike I've had with linked brakes and I loathe the system. I can't see how it makes bikes safer for young riders I was riding over loose chipping where the road had been resurfaced and all of the control I used to have using the back brake has gone I have a lot less confidence on lose surface using this system I think ABS should be fitted to 125s but whoever came up with the law has never ridden a bike
@spicy1103 ай бұрын
You know you can disable that system and return the bike to independent braking? It is fine with mot too.

Totaly agree with you . linked brakes were the idia of someone that's never riden a bike , gotta be the most dangerious thing since a board tracker with no brakes at all in the rush hour. Personaly i don't like anti lock either it might be ok in a car i wouldnt know cos i dont drive a car . but again it takes away the choice . With anti lock. traction controle , sat navs and god knows what else modern motorcycles come with .Young people are growing up expecting bikes to ride themselves. one day they are going to get on an old bsa or triumph and kill them selves because they never learnd to ride properley in the first place and expect the bike to do it all for them. Im quite taken with that lexmoto tho ,Ide like to see it kept for a long tearm test .maybe 2 years or 25,000 miles tho . I like the idia of a small under stressed v twin. Ride safe Spicy ;-)
