You know not everyone have money even for a flat or a house so how you imagine everyone being gardener..in a block of flats? You dont know how its shit for someone without money to change anything when many people just brag about their lifes and how they choose to live while some just dont have any choice without start from parents or grandparents.

@@yilingpatriarch31 who said i'm rich? I'm from CZ, not a rich country in general. I don't see your point, if you trully want something you'll find your way. Even growing stuff behind window counts... I prefer not to cry about stuff and work harder... Have a great day.

@@yilingpatriarch31 I find this so funny because you say we brag about something but you don’t know anything about me. I came in this country and I was washing glasses with enough money to cover my rent and no money to buy food or do anything else’s. I took over 3 jobs working day and night with absolutely zero free time until I managed to learn the language and get a better job but even then, I didn’t stop and I started learning how to film and edit using every single second of my free time (literally any time I wasn’t working). Don’t ever assume things about people life as I guarantee you I’ve been through so much shit but I always managed to get out and change my situation. Just remember, you are in control of your life and you are the one who put you in the situation where you are. If you want to change it, it’s entirely up to you and stop blaming other people about not having money. I’ve been there for many years and I created my entire career without any sort of help from anyone and you have no clue about how much works I had to do, literally shovelling shit out of the way and never complained about my situation but always worked for a better one.

I am 56 and will start my own permaculture-inspired garden in 2 weeks. Looking so forward to transforming a well groomed lawn into vegetable beds, planting food trees, turning standard garden flower beds into a pollinator paradise and replacing the dreaded thuja hedge with bird friendly native bushes. 😊 I have a rough idea and will learn as I go.

@@kevinsolis6577 We only received the keys to house and garden 2 weeks ago. As we are also renovating the house inside and I am working full time, there was not much time to do anything in the garden. But I have set up a thermal (rapid) composter, while also identifying what trees and bushes we already have: 1 pear, 2 different varieties of apple (one very old clear apple in desperate need of some serious pruning), 1 plum. Several no food bushes, 2 horrid thuja hedges (I need to get rid of them ASAP ...), some herbs and a rhubarb. And ca. 600 square meters of currently unproductive lawn. Oh, if that was not enough to think about, we also have a > 30 year old Canadian oak that has been pruned to be a 5 m high dwarf standing in the way in every conceivable way. I am currently figuring out where the sunny and shady areas of the garden are, where the wind comes from and where water stays and flows. Will probably be able to build a first raised bed this year. The rest will come as I go. 🙄 It is challenging and also very interesting.

Omg 🌱 I’m so inspired. Absolutely beautiful video in every detail! I’m 67 and starting my first garden. Please keep making this kind of content. The world has forgotten this kind of beauty and simple joy, well I’ll speak for myself. I did. I forgot some of the basics. Yes I’m a bit old to play with seeds and dirt and the weather but so far its great. I feel like I planted myself 🪴❤️🌱 and I’m amazed I’m growing too.

What a beautiful little documentary. Just wonderful. I grow in my garden - vegetables, and starting this year, a cut flower patch. All the hard work is worth it when the bees come - it's one of the best sounds in the world, the steady, resonant thrum of the bees as they go around your garden. I don't even mind when the birds and insects eat some of the veg. They have to live too! Happy growing, everyone who has the opportunity. It's a privilege I wish everyone could experience - I truly think it could change the world.

You should get your own bee hive! The bees could do with all the help we can give them and the pure natural honey is an added bonus! They are actually really quite easy to maintain and you sound like someone that would derive so much enjoyment and happiness from observing the little bees do their work and all your neighbours will rep the benefits too.

As an oldie and experienced gardner things still go wrong. That in some ways is what keeps us engaged and determined to learn.Yes !.Have no doubt there will be times when you will shake your fists at the skies and curse the elements...but the miracle of it is that after a bit of clearing, planting, potching about in the shed that frustration melts away and your enthusiasm returns. Somehow even the aches and pains of 😂athritic bones are less bothersome when you have something to show for all your efforts. Of course ," There is always next year " 😂 I 'm long past the age when that can be somewhat taken for granted , but nevertheless out come the seed catalogues and my addled old brain is somehow full of plans to improve things yet again and get it right this time😂 That is gardening's most precious gift to me...HOPE! To be my age and yet have a reason to look forward full of plans is an immeasurable joy. Every blessing to you ! Cherish the successes and don't angst for too long over the failures.😊

Being a biologist and having a gardening family, something I thought was a lesser field but how wrong was I. Starting off last year with potatoes in some raised beds, growing on some wild flowers, failing with carrots and onions has made me see that this is not easy but so worth while and another education which brings us into nature. Now in my second season with seedlings ripping up, leaf mold and compost systems I see a whole new environment. Takes time and effort but well done to everyone who makes that effort.

Thanks for this! I red somewhere that London people were nearly independent in their vegetables consumption just by everyone gardening a lot and everywhere during WWII... The first gardener in the video says something completely true in the first minutes: you guys are lucky to be able to grow a part of your own food. So what if the true revolution would be to make this possible to everyone? This would be, for me, the beginning of the new world humanity needs! Greatings from France!

Very inspiring! However much (or little) we think we know, it is always a pleasure to learn more from others with shared knowledge. Thank you ❤

An amazing little documentary! I really long to have an outdoor space, right now I'm just making due with my window sills and try to grow sprouts, but I do have some tomatoplants I have hopes for and some lettuce. I've always thought that if it becomes a class in primary school and all primary schools would have big gardens were they teach kids how to garden, you would have children walking away with the skills to grow their own food, and you have a community garden the food of which can go to: the children, community members who need it the most etc. Just imagine it... all schools having a massive garden. How much green, how much food and how much happiness it could bring the an infinite amount of people...

It truely IS miraculous, the way God holds all of this in His soveriegn hands and keeps the kind of beauty growing around us people. Alot of people will not give Him the credit, but it really is Him. We are just sterwards. Great production!

Pause for a moment to consider if all of the amazing characteristics and colorful designs of the tomatoes, basil, and beets that you plant and harvest in your gardens are the result of a cosmic accident. Are they all not screaming at the top of their lungs- "DESIGNER!!!"? Thank you for sharing... beautiful, wonderful. 🥺😁
