Vanda Bharat express is permissible for 160 KMPH speed but indian tracks are not upgraded to handle such speed. Vanda Bharat is not a loco hauled train. It is a train set with distributed power technology(EMU) and having driver cabin at either sides . Vanda Bharat express was tested at 182 KMPH per hour and it can be twicked upto 220 KMPH speed if the tracks are upgraded. .

2012 mein me Pakistan mein 10 days ke liye Gaya tha. Vahaan me kafi cities mein gaya . Jab bhi mujhe railway se travel karta tha to mujhe hairani Holi thee ke train engine ko 3or 4 hrs ke liye start hee rakha jata tha. Maine ek baar train driver poochha ki aap log Aisa kyon karte hein? Yeh fuel ki barbadi kyon karte hein?Driver bola ki yeh hamari majboori hai kyonki yeh engine bahut old hein.Lekin India mein Aisa naheen hai.

I traveled from vande Bharat recently from Bhopal to New Delhi. My experience was mixed, hand dryer was not working,toilets can be more taken care off, speed was good touching 160 on a regular basis through out the journey. But more improvements Are needed
