Spider-farmer 6L cool mist Humidifier unboxing!

Today we get to play with a new tool in the garden, Spider-farmer has been kind enough to send a 6l cool mist humidifier. I am going to be testing out and seeing how it works for providing a correct RH for the 5x5 veg tent, used with the Spider-farmer G8600 grow light. Also just so everyone is aware the screen is not skipping only how the light refracts off the screen in the camera. The whole system runs flawlessly.

awesome humidifier MOE. I recently picked up the ACI T-3 enjoying it so far. I keep it in a bucket just in case we have any leaks but so far so good... I wish they had a dark tank.. help prevent algae growth

I’ve never seen the aci one in person but they look real nice this one’s neat cuz it uses that dark color tank with just that peep window to see threw I’ll be doing an update vid in the future showing how it does with a lil time but it’s definitely pretty nice.

be careful letting the end of the hose point down though. will start dripping on things below the plant. and water build up along the hose that's laying flat.

Ok I’ll keep a close eye on it I gotta adjust it a tad bit as well but I’ve seen some things about that on some grow threads I’ll definitely be keeping an eye out and adjusting it for sure

In my next vid that’s coming up shortly I’ll show how I ran it for no drops basically plant tieing it to the ceiling crossbars allowing it to center hang has worked so far

@@Moegrowin yes, the imagine on the manual says don’t make loops or have and points where it declines then inclines again, but it doesn’t say anything about pointing the hose downwards. I was experiencing a lot of leaks but I listened to @immunitycorrupts3641 comment and I looked at the video example of the setup that the company provided on Amazon, and I recreated it to the best of my abilities for my setup. It fixed the problem like a charm. No leaks anymore! Never have the hose point down, only up, slightly up, and MAYBE horizontal, but laying it horizontal like they suggest to do it is even a little risky.

@@Moegrowin also it’s funny because I first looked for KZbin reviews and such for this humidifier to see if anyone spoke on this, and after not finding anything I went back to Amazon to see the video the manufacturer used. In doing so I saw your review on Amazon saying you’re a KZbinr, so I checked out the channel and found out I literally JUST watched ur video 🤣

Did you ever take that white foam piece out from the bottom half that's hangin on to the white plastic part

Yes I did I removed all the stickers and foam and plastic covers it works pretty good so far

@@BlackkDiiamonds oh ya I made a similar mistake with a cheap humidifier I used to have so I definitely get that ha ha but luckily I took a double look at everything before I got er all filled up and it’s doing pretty good now

It dont show the right humidity.. it shows i have 65 % but 2 other new humidity controllers show 47%

Oh that’s not right haven’t had anything like that happen, you could try returning the one you have it may have just been a glitched one or something like that.
