Yes you're right they're mostly practical effects that took 4 people to puppet each arm and a roll around throne controller to operate the claws. All in all it weighed about 100 pounds and Alfred Molina mentioned in an interview that they'd be more cgi this time as hes got a dodgey lower back and is 17 years older than he was in 2004 but I still can't wait to see how they turn out in no way home

First of all great reaction and great editing, keep up the good work. But here's my question, what is with the scene with Doc Oc throwing the car through the cafe window? I always thought that it was a cool scene (epic even) but if you think about it, the scene doesn't make any sense. Doctor Octopus went to intimidate Peter Parker into trying to contact or find Spider-Man, so that he could capture him and bring him to Harry Osbourne to kill. But to do that he threw a car at him? (1) Peter Parker is a regular man as far as he knows. So throwing a car at him, is stupid. (2) Peter's reaction to the thrown car would have outed him as Spider-Man immediately. (3) Peter is a poor struggling photographer, just because he takes pictures of Spider-Man, it doesn't mean that he knows him personally. Peter could have been sent to cover a press conference with the city's mayor, and if he took a picture of the mayor, people wouldn't just assume that he and the mayor were best buds. (4) Which means that either Peter has to look for a hidden (dead, retired, on vacation, or captured) superhero, or worse he has to try to convince or capture Spider-Man (a super powered individual) to save Mary Jane. Also, after the train fight, when Spider-Man is captured by Doctor Octopus, and at his mercy, why doesn't Doc Oc at least look at his face (if for no other reason, than for general curiosity, as up to this point in time, Spider-Man has been a major pain in the neck for him). (5) How does Doc Oc even find Peter Parker, it's not like Peter works in that cafe. I remember being super relieved when I learned that there was an extended edition with extra content/scenes, thinking surely they'll have an extra scene showing some idiot running a red light and swerving to avoid Doc Oc, thus causing themselves to flip via two of Doc Oc's metal arms being used as a type of ramp. But much to my annoyance and puzzlement, I got no such scene.

First thank you for the kind words! Second, I think everybody has shredded the scene in the ways that you did. Yeah it dosent make much sense. But hey we all think it’s still epic tho! It’s just one of those super hero movie scenes you gotta be like “that didn’t make much sense.......BUT IT WAS EPIC THO!!!!” Doc Ock just has a flair for the dramatic. 🤷🏻‍♂️
