@@nge9621 I know Mackel is over-the-top, and that's part of the fun/charm, but also this is a good point. Heck even *setting aside* gameplay (which is huge), and talking about just *graphics alone* , going from 8-bit and 16-bit 2D sprites, to the first 3D polygon games (just having a 3D camera was so huge at the time), to some of the first shadows/lighting effects, etc etc. It was so dynamic to experience, even just purely in terms of graphics. Now a days, a game from 2015 looks often about the same as a game made in 2023.

​@commandershepard9920 I think u need to understand that games are nearly at peak graphics. There past 2015, games don't have a lot of room to improve graphics wise. So ofc games look just about the same. Right now most developers r focusing on the raytracing quality than anything. But still, even though it's not a massive improvement in graphics lately, they still look leagues better from 2015, and if u think otherwise, u simply are wrong🤷‍♂️ games aren't really at a point where they can go from a polygonal style game, to a full fledged realistic looking game like back in 2008. Get more realistic here, and lower ur expectations.

@@grannyperson "leagues better" "simply wrong"; it's all relative. If to you, they are day and night different, then good for you; glad you can enjoy that. To me, modern games typically look mildly better than they did in 2015. My expectations are for them to innovate on gameplay in meaningful ways, whether graphically they look exactly the same, or nearly the same. The bar is low here.

The graphics of games have massively improved since 2015, but it's harder to tell since there is less room to grow, so its only details, but nonetheless, those details have been massively improved upon.

Reasons why you should not buy Spider-Man 2 1. Peter Darker (Miles Morales) is in it (because everyone at Marvel including a lot of people nowadays wanting to shoehorn garbage SJW tokenized characters like Miles down our throats) 2. Graphics are much worse than the first game remastered. 3. It's still being based on Dan Slott's awful take on the character, not to mention it's also taking liberties from the Ultimate Spider-Man TV Show and Amazing Spider-Man 2, which both are considered to be the worst adaptations to ever endure. 4. The character designs are even more hideous.
