Considering this was cut it's likely canonically Kraven didn't kill Rhino in my opinion, they could have easily added a Kraven log like they did for Shocker and Electro the fact they didn't I think means they changed their minds on Kraven killing him off

My theory is that Rhino is still at the least incapacitated from what happened in Miles’ game if Phin didn’t actually kill him, Someone may have been able to get to him and maybe even get him out of New York for the events of this game. Also Kraven wouldn’t find rhino worth the hunt if he still wasn’t able to fight. But something tells me he’s alive and the devs are gonna just say he wasn’t in New York for this game and Kraven was only hunting the villains in New York.
