It is definitely a difference. I still have the base ps5 and the pro and playing on my 55" S90d omg. It's not night and day, but it is day and night... It's definitely a big difference. It's so smooth, so graphically sound, it's just amazing!! 😢😊

KZbin doesn't do it justice seeing this game on my tv is crazy how clean the image is and this is on all the games even star wars jedi survivor now on performance looks like native 4k and is clean no fuzziness even on movement for launch this is good as it will only get better.

Does the ps5 pro run games like dayz faster. Its a pretty laggy game on ps4 and the jump to ps5 was amazing. I dont care about the graphics, i just want to know if it runs faster and smoother.

@BAZmma i think that's the main thing you will experience, you can play games with a equivalent graphics to the ps5 fidelity mode at 60fps. Not sure exactly but I heard it runs alot faster and smoother.

Without a Pro patch, you'll get 30% better fps in GPU limited scenarios, and 10% in CPU-limited scenarios.

yes using PSSR which is the Sony version of DLSS. It's up there with the newest DLSS but probably comes a bit short but it will only get better with age. It's WAY better than FSR tho. FSR is trash.

$1085 CAD tax included for these upgrades don’t seem worth it. That’s ofc without a stand and disc drive and not to mention most ppl don’t play games like this person is bc if you watch any play through they focus on learning the game mechanics rather than taking in the graphics. When it comes to multiplayer games that’s already a given ppl don’t really care about graphics and are satisfied even with 60fps. It took 7yrs for the ps5 to drop in nov 2020 after the ps4 so the ps6 is bound to drop in late 2027.

Fidelity mode at 60 fps 4k is the definition of a difference and it can run some games at 4k 120 fps. Thats insane. For $700 nothing else will give you that kind of quality of performance.
