It does make sense, since in the comics, every time Miles and Venom, or Miles and Carnage have came across eachother, Miles has always wiped the floor with him due to the bio-electricity. When it comes to raw power, Miles has an edge, but his Spider-Sense is weaker and slower than Peter's (Miles' Spidey-Sense usually goes off last second, whereas Peter's goes off a few seconds before someone does something. That's why that 'Miles does a useless backflip meme happened twice'. In his game, he got the Spider-Sense last second, and only knew something was going to be thrown through the wall, therefore he jumped instinctively. It's only after Peter hits that transformer that Miles realises it was Peter that got thrown through the wall. In this game, when Venom is about to crash through the top window, Miles' sense goes off last second again, and he instinctively jumps again).
