Spider-Man 2: The Game E3 2003 Footage (5.16.03)

Reupload of all the existing footage from E3 2003 at the Activision Spider-Man 2 Booth by IGN. This is obscure and not known footage that has been floating around the web (no pun intended) since 2011. I'm only reuploading this to get more attention surrounding it since again its very obscure. The date these were all recorded was May 16th, 2003.
Parts 1, 2, 3, and 16 are uploaded. meaning 4-15 and possibly more are lost.

interesting there's more animations on jumping 0:57 as well as some minor animations like the wall climbing, etc look more smooth than the final version. I wonder why they took out the beta car beating mechanic 2:30 It looks more stylized than just wthout it. I feel like the art direction (especially when the city is at night time) has a lot of style as well. Final version of the city looks too dull in my opinion compared to the beta here. Kinda wish they went with that art direction, it just pops more. (Maybe a modding project could possibly restore some of the elements)

Interesting, it seems that the skybox is different, the spidey and building models look like they have a higher number of polygons (i know this isn't the way to describe them i just don't know the correct way to explain it) the health icon has the 2002 back spider logo instead of the 2004 version and the lightning also looks different, it reminds me of those 2002 spidey promo pics.

If you’re talking about higher LOD then yeah you’re correct that’s the proper term for it. The whole build seems to be higher quality before they figured out the memory budget for this game, the whole New York in this build is only a 300x300 meter space.
