I really like him in both versions, and I hope overcomes his grief in the 3rd movie. At the end of the day he is still a spiderman so I know he will do the right thing.

and while I dont know much about miguel ohara in the comics I thought that spiderverse is when he discovers canon events accidentally breaks one and that destroys him mentally so thats why he drastically changes in character but Im not sure

Thank you for this video. I really appreciate it. I'm so glad I fell for Miguel in the second movie. I think it is funny that Oscar Isaac doesn't think Miguel is funny at all. It's like the filmmakers made Miguel that way for the movie. Of course, Miguel is a bit on the funny side at the end of the first movie, so it is the fact that he lost his daughter that made him lose his sense of humor. Although as you know, his life in the comics wasn't easy, either. I wish they didn't write so many horrible things happening to him. They could have just used the dystopian society to help him make him a better person. It's amazing he started out as a complete ass (at least in the comics), who turned into a really good guy. If it wasn't for the movie, I would have never fallen for him & bought his comics.

Like I said, I really appreciate Miguel O'Hara and feel like of all the spider-characters, he has the most potential to be something really great that resonates with audiences. I hope they build him up to be the true hero he is in the next movie. A fact I forgot to mention was that Miguel is one of the few people who wields Thor's hammer in the comics. That has to speak for something! I also saw you shared the video and I can't thank you enough for that. That's one of the biggest ways to help boost my channel. I've planned on streaming more than I have in the past, but I fell in love with Miguel, so I'm distracted at the moment. If you look into MBTI, Miguel definitely has a different personality. He's more like Batman (an INTJ) in the comics. But in Spiderverse, He's more like Kung Fu Panda 1's Shifu (An ISTJ). INTJs are more open minded, intuitive, and tactful. ISTJs are far more "face value" and can be pretty darn stubborn. My gripe with Spiderverse is the way Miguel is getting mainstreamed as. I feel like people are starting to dislike him to a degree because of how he was portrayed.

Fr Miguel in the movies is the type to keep the status quo while Miguel in the games/comics is the type to expand it overall great vid man

I honestly like Miguel being an anti-villian more because it adds more conflict since the whole film is just the trolley problem

the way i like to think of the spider-verse versions is that the spider-men are from alternate time lines of universes were things may have happened just a little different

Its tricky, because strictly speaking the multiverse numbering should reflect that but they're all using the correct comic-book Canon numbering. This is Insomniac Spider-man's 3rd multiverse event technically!

​@@ComicCrashi thought it would be obvious. The animated and live action versions are variation A or B. So Miguel from spider verse comes from Earth 928-B. A side variant. While original Miguel from comics come from Earth 928.

Hey what are some good modern Miguel O Hara storylines?

Series 2 (the 2014 series) is fantastic and so is series 3. Peter David returns for them so they stay pretty true to the character. Id also recommend Superior Spider-man and the first Spider-verse series. Miguel has big roles in both of those. Particularly Superior when he is technically the true Spider-man vs Otto.
