Lol haha... I can agree. I'd say it came off a bit awkward because the game didn't really develop Harry's character. You fight him one time and he's out the rest of the game. Then he just pops up for the final battle at the last minute. The game should have just added a few more missions dealing with Harry gaining his memory back and then having to fight and beat him a second time. By that point, his conversation during the final boss fight would have been more meaningful.

There's 2 things I have to say about the ending. First how did Eddie/Venom die? Second I think it would have been better if all that was left of Eddie was a skeleton kind of like how the novelization/original ending of Spider-man 3 went

Honestly, I have no idea how Eddie died. I guess the Symbiote just drained his health away and he died. Although that doesn't explain Venom's death. I'd chalk it up to just a rushed ending where the writers didn't try to explain anything. The skeleton idea of Eddie Brock sounds very interesting. That would have been a pretty cool ending.

@@AnonymousAffection well according to one article I am reading Eddie/Venom died due to possible brain damage caused by the symbiote's sensitivity to sound waves with Eddie's last words being that he couldn't control the symbiote. Personally I think an ending based on the novelization would've been better

I wonder why the 360 version is different than the wii version, because I think venoms death in the 360 version is a little more gruesome than the wii version

The 360/PS3/PC version differ compared to the Wii/PS2/PSP is because they were made by two different studios. Vicarious Visions did the PS2/Wii/PSP version while Treyarch did the 360/PS3 version. And since Treyarch was the main developer making Spider-Man games, they had more resources with newer consoles and made the superior game. The PS2/Wii version was honestly just a rush job. Lackluster combat, half the story and boss fights removed, can't use the black suit for long too long, no new game plus, etc... The Spider-Man 2 game developed by Treyarch had better swinging and combat than the Spider-Man 3 PS2/Wii version.

@Lyla How did they manage to do better than Treyarch when it comes to the visual and technical aspects? Nothing in Vicarious Vision's Spider-Man 3 visually looked better than Treyarch's Spider-Man 3. Spider-Man 3 from Vicarious Visions doesn't even look better than Spider-Man 2. Very ignorant of you to assume I never bought any upgrades. If you had actually watched my walkthrough, I literally showed throughout different videos of me buying the majority of upgrades and making use of them in combat. Did you actually play Treyarch's Spider-Man 3? Because if you did, you would know that me calling this combat lackluster had nothing to do with buying the upgrades. The overall combat was just lacking a lot of things. Treyarch's Spider-Man 3 gave you tons of combos to execute and allowed you to fight enemies in the air. The dodge attacks were great and spider reflexes was fun to use and also extremely helpful if you were low on health. Vicarious Vision's Spider-Man 3 has far less combos, no spider reflexes, and combat is restricted to the ground meaning no aerial fights. Treyarch's Spider-Man 3 combat also has better fludity allowing to you to fight multiple enemies at once while Vicarious Vision's is meant for one to one encounters.

I hate the Venom part sooo much First phase of the fight is alright, but after Venom gets that dark glow?, spam the same move, but beware!, it only works when the camera's right in front, Peter is looking at the same direction and if you shake like a crazy old man Now repeat that after the health bar is around 25% near the end of the fight, and then be ready, because it shifts into a upper view look, and if you are sticking to a wall, congrats! Venom will combo you to death without way of getting away, you can't sidestep dodge, if you go over him or behind, you'll have little chances of escaping, and you can't jump

I only collected like 21 Spider emblems so far & they’re difficult to find because you have to check every part of the map, which is honestly time consuming & stupid. I might as keep fighting crime in the regular costume because you can beat up enemies, but just not that quick without the black suit.
