I watched Across the Spider-verse two days ago and hot dam. Isn't the opening just fitting. Especially the 'Akirameteshimai sou ni nattara Doko e de mo kaketsukeru' which translates to 'If you are about to give up, I'll come find you no matter where you are'. Considering the theme of the movie and the ending, these parts of the lyrics hit hard because of Gwen searching for Miles alongside the ItS-V roster with Spider-Punk and Spider-Man India added to the roster to save the now captured and on the verge of giving up Miles Morales

hits so hard after actually watching the movie SPOILERS miles actually does go through a sort of vigilante arc, obviously with being the "enemy" of literally every single spider-man, but theres scenes where he has to push peter b. and gwen away because they're also trying to make miles realize what he's doing will endanger the multiverse. i cant say for sure but i almost feel as though this song would fit beyond the spider-verse better than it does this one, because by then miles will already be full solo vigilante and presumably will be for a good while unless gwen's spider band finds him early on in the film
