When UPN started airing reruns in the late 90's the Red Skull episode was part of it.

Favorite episode: Along came Spidey I love it because it tells the origin the best way out of all of the cartoons based on him, when he's in the ring he's really fighting like a human spider and not some strongman, he really sells himself on television appearances by lifting things with ease(one finger) and when he finally chases down the crook it's with so much power that he felt like he was from another show, the lighting and art style gets better just to show him entering thru the roof that he rips apart with his bare hands and this has got to be the only time in Spidey origin in toons that he ever cries streaming tears even as he puts on the suit to catch Uncle Ben's killer, this show will remain as one of my favorites for finally getting Spider-Man the most right from the start, there's another Spider-Man show from the same year that is almost there but when he shoots a web his hands are in the shape of a gun or he just extends his pinky finger and that pulls me out of it, this one Spider-Man for the first time ever in hitting backflips while swinging and making sure that his index, pinky and thumb fingers are out on both hands and he's always quiping and usually calm and collected, other shows he's just a thug wearing pajamas not the Amazing Spider-Man, the only thing I'd say was missing but to be fair I didn't finished the show completely yet is Mary Jane and Gwen Stacy on the Peter Parker side of things, just started watching it fully on Disney Plus so I'll assume that Red Skull is definitely missing after what they said in this video

I grew up on these episodes. I think it's great to learn a little bit more about the series that I didn't know. Now, I hope some Millennials will want to go find these episodes and watch them.

I can't believe how ahead of it's time this show is, sure it's corny but to create a video game villain in 1981 and bring him back multiple times and they even understand how the games work if you were to live there, most of today's shows don't even understand this, literally the only thing I hate about this show is Ms Lion and sometimes Aunt May

When mentioning the voice actors, you forgot that Kathy Garver, better known as Cissy on Family Affair, was Firestar.

Wrong. The Red Skull ep was in the Marvel Action Universe block in 88 (not 89). Two points off for you.

I forgot about "7 Little Superheroes", and now I want to see that nazi epio..s.. I mean "Quest for the Red Skull". Also, I wonder who owns the film rights to Lightwave?
@pious838 жыл бұрын
So you can use a known Nazi Supervillain but can't use the paraphernalia? That seems dumb.
@MrSafior8 жыл бұрын
No, generally nazi villain today are member of anologe for nazi, like Hydra, wich is really dumb.

Well, since most superhero costumes are impossibly skin-tight, I can see why people would think that even if it isn't true.

This show was the bomb! However after watching it I will never see Iceman as gay as the comics are portraying him for now. I hope that they will change this back to restore the character to his former glory. If they want a gay member of the X-Men they would have been better off creating a new character anyway. Make Iceman Straight again!
@MrSafior8 жыл бұрын
They have already gay character in the x-men, lot of them more well written then the new Iceman who act like a giant parody. Unfortunatl at least marvel decide to have the balls to say to the fujoshi fan, like scan daily, go to hell, Iceman will remain a steretypical gay man.
@jamesenglebert91498 жыл бұрын
MrSafior I will keep my stance. I stop counting what they write in comics years ago. There are too many canons to keep track of anyway. I pray however that they change him back.

James Englebert amen to that brother. Bobby Drake was always making a play for Firestar in the t.v series and Bobby Drake was always going after Rogue in the X-Men movies. Please Marvel Comics Please, make Bobby Drake / Ice man straight again. Please. 'Nuff Said

Well damn that ended on a down note....that must have been one comic writer who wasn't a fan of the show.
