As a man born in 2000, I’ve never seen any of the Tobey Maguire ones in theaters when I was a kid, not even Spider-Man 3, because 6 1/2 year old me at the time was only excited to watch Shrek The Third than Spider-Man 3, so this is exciting. For those like me who never get a chance to watch the Sam Raimi ones on a big screen, this will be the BEST experience ever.💥

I still remember watching spiderman 4 fan trailers on KZbin before the 4th one was cancelled and replaced with amazing spiderman which made 9 year old me absolutely hate that movie when it came out. The reason why the original trilogy and TASM1 were memorable, was because of the producer LAURA ZISKIN It was because of her and her husband (the screenwriter Alvin Sargent) that the movies had depth Unfortunately, she died in 2011, during the production of TASM1 Without her, there was no one to stop AVI ARAD from destroying the franchise Spider-Man was nothing without her

I watched Spiderman 2002 yesterday and Finally after 22 years , i've seen it on VHS, DVD, Blueray, Streaming and now in The big Silver screen. Being only a few months old when the movie came out I obvouisly couldn't go watch it back in 2002 but this made me almost cry. My cousin, brother and I have been watching this trilogy for so long and I can't even remember the amount of times we would watch 1 and 2 in the same day, then when 3 came out we watched 1, 2 and 3 multiple time when we had free time and when we were bored of playing videogames and playing outside. The Sam Ramy Spiderman trilogy was such a big part of my childhood and I will be trying to watch the other two in theaters aswell. Thankyou Columbia Pictures happy 100th aniversary, to 100 more

As much as I love the older Spider-Man movies, I don't like the idea of giving Sony money until we know they'll do something different with their live action movies. We shouldn't be rewarding them or bailing them out after that Madame Web disaster. The Spider-Man rights should be held by a company that actually cares, not one that wants to just put out crappy movies to not lose the rights to Spider-Man
