This movie is phenomenal, big props to Sean and his team. This movie blew me away and it justified its existence to de-canonize the beloved Retribution. You guys all did an incredible job. I love the subtitles of the Jackals performance, the story, the fight choreography, and so much of this film. Theres so much to unpack, and I'm looking forward to rewatching this 100 more times. I loved this so much. This is what we're here for, a film that captures the heart of a Spider-Man story made by a truly deidcated fan / filmmaker. This really gives me hope for fan films knowing that they're not all going to be super high budget web-blockbusters, but what the FFC has been and will always be! Damn, the actor who played Eric has grown up! lmao. Really great fan film, one of my favorite parts was the chemistry between the actors of Peter and Gwen. Their chemistry was VERY believable, to the point where I wouldn't doubt the actors are dating irl. They bounced off each other really well.

Ok…ok…ok. This movie was amazing! I love how Scarlet spiders story was made and told in this film at the same time as this film was also trying to tell Peters and Harry’s friendship. This was a masterpiece and I could not have asked for better movie.

This was ALOT better than Retribution story-wise, I like the dynamic between Peter and Eric plus Gwen is very supportive and a solid actress. The theme of responsibility ties into Peter and Harry's motivations, their relationship fits the title. Camerawork and effects have improved tremendously! (29:22 is so badass). Shocker needed more screentime, his redesign looked great and so did Scarlet Spider. Jackal should've done more than stand around until the post credits though. Still, the only flaw that effects the story is the ending for me. Harry's 180° transition from "You think I'm worth saving?' to "You're my best friend" was too soon. Overall I like this plot way more than last time. This is a very fitting continuation to Responsibility and hope we get a follow up. It's good to see you guys still love doing what you do. 8/10

I wanted to do it in a way where Harry sees that Peter is willing to help him even after everything he did, but it totally could’ve been fleshed out more. But again man thank you so much!!! This was amazing! The acting, the script, the choreography, the post-credits scene, and the fan-Film in general was all beyond spectacular! This is the the 100% best Spider-Man Fan Film I have ever seen! The whole Fan Film was out of this world and I cannot wait to see what's next, since it seems like there's going to be another one! This was brilliant and I have to say again that the post-credits scene was truly incredible, and I just don't know how to explain without spoiling even the smallest bit of what happens! I remember being approached to play the Shocker. I said yes immediately, without hesitation. I had no idea about the world I was stepping into, but putting on that yellow jacket and Mandalorian gauntlets felt so right. This is hands down the greatest film experience I've had so far; the passion that pours forth from Sean and his friends is evident in the masterpiece they've presented us and I'm honored to have been apart. I was also informed about the big shoes I was going to be filling and I hope I did the character justice for the all fans that have been with Sean since the beginning. Putting the Shocker through the gauntlet (no pun intended) with the immaculate fight set piece (choreographed by Jakub) is the highlight of this film for me. I am petitioning that there be more one shot fights in the future :) Big thank you to Sean for once again inviting me into his universe, he is a skilled director and a wonderful collaborator and I look forward to working with him in the future. If he doesn't want to anymore... that would be pretty shocking ;)

This really was the sequel we needed, and the one you deserved to make Sean. The Charecters, the story, THE FUCKING CINEMATOGRAPHY ! It’s all amazing. Finally sat down and watched this. And holy shit, this was actually incredible, dude! I'd admit, I wasn't a big fan of SM: Responsibility but Best of Enemies was 100 times better than Responsibility, and I enjoyed it very much! The Ben Reilly Twist at the post-credit scene was actually a cool and smart way to explain how Eric got spider-like powers. But I have a couple of nitpicks for this movie tho, Spider-Man breaking peoples arms and legs felt kinda out of character for him. Also Eric laying down near the house porch when Peter came back from the "talk" with Harry was very irresponsible, wouldn't their neighbours see him and piece together that he's Scarlet Spider? Also does Eric/Ben not have a Spider-Sense? Since Peter had to warn him that Goblin was behind him when Eric's Spider-Sense should've warned him about it.

My review on this: The character's were a hit or miss with the only people who actually tried in my opinion were the people who played Peter,Gwen,Eric (not Ben Reilly), Norman (who was incredibly underused) and the shocker who didn't use his gauntlets that much and just running to the nearist gun only to get it knocked out of his hands, the acting was ok only with the characters I just mentioned Harry Osborne was terribly casted not showing off what made the character so good, Jekyll was ok but not good so just bland and it's a bit pointless of him wearing his mask if he just takes it off, the green goblin suit is probably the worse thing in this fan film heck the green goblin is probably the worst thing in this film with him not even using his glider was a stupid idea and the costume was terrible the mask should or could have looked like a samurai mask but nope you bought it from target or where ever heck I'll even except him wearing something like TASM2's goblin suit, the action was bland when I see a superhero movie I want to see some good action even if the film's a mess, I counted 5 times during this film and Peter and Eric (just call him Ben) used they're powers 5 times and it's was only the web shooters and one of the times it was broken!!!! Over all I'd give this a 4/10

Thanks for the review!! I appreciate all the critiques you gave and whatnot, I’m glad you liked my acting and a lot of the other performances. However I’ll have to respectfully disagree with most of what you said about the goblin😂We were going for more of a wannabe mobster type of angle with the character, more down to earth and not as goofy. You gotta admit, seeing our more realistic version of goblin flying on a glider would be really silly🤣That’s why his suit isn’t classic, I tried to make a version of goblin that fit my budget but was still a good character. And in my opinion I thought the goblin actor did really well with his performance. Not too sure what was wrong with the fight scenes, I’m pretty proud of the choreography we managed to pull off with those. But the film wasn’t so much about the action, I wanted to tell a more personal story with Peter Parker and Harry so that’s why there wasn’t as much action or powers on display. But hey man I still respect your opinion and I thank you for your review!!! I appreciate any bit of criticism, and I’m glad there were parts of the movie you enjoyed! Hopefully you’ll dig the villain and action a lot more in the sequel!👍

@@buckeyestudios what I would change about your fan film whilst keeping it the same would be this, they're would be 3 goblin's one as Harry, that being a fake out the other being Norman with him Not being dead or by making him still alive with the 1 with Norman not being dead taking the route of spectacular spider-man and the other with Norman's death being a cover up and Chameleon would pretend to be Norman now of course then you would have to change the mask because of the mystery that's one of the reasons why I didn't like your goblin how Peter didn't recognize him with the mask with it just covering his mask being a covid mask and less of a goblin mask

And with Peter not recognizing him with the mask, Peter had only ever seen Harry as the goblin for less than a minute, so with all the commotion and still coughing up a storm from being smoke bombed, he wasn't able to process that he was listening to Harry's voice. Maybe that wasn't as clear as I wanted it to be, but that's what I was going for haha. Thanks for that suggestion though
