no its not its hugely overrated especially the freeroam. I purchased the game 3 days after its released. As soon as the campaign started I knew instantly it would be a an exclusive fans loved simply because Spiderman is popular and most famous marvel superhero. The problem with ps4 is that they really didn't do anything new to stop making the freeroam a repeat of Spiderman tobey games, nor the classics which I rank over Spiderman ps4. A lot of people love dr Oct in this game, I belive the main boss should've been Mr negative or tombstone. To me seeing Dr Oct on another spidey video game for the 1. Millionth time is drastically Boring! And the boss fight felt like Spiderman 2 fight but with Amazing Spiderman Cinematoc effects. Marvel's Spiderman ps4 webbing gadgets, and techniques are Honestly not that impressive. His combo take downs are boring, they show the same animations which the other video games did do. The screwball missions is one major problem, I didn't mind Harry's environmental clean up only if it would've fit well the overall story plot to build up to the main mission objectives. The sound effects sound cheap and the combat is beyond retarded to look at. I mean serious you just mash, mash, mash. Web up, web up, web up, and a couple of combos and no new improvements just the same thugs, same chasedowns, same pigeon chases which is stupid since spiders web pulls in real life will be powerful enough to injur or kill pigeons lol 😆 . Boring girlfriend scenes all of his girlfriends including Mary Jane friend zoned him. The only mission I appreciate besides Mr negative was the hammer head Dlcs. Things got a little bit serious with Spidermans detective skills there. Everything else was all about a boring bland of spidermans life and the only thing that caught my attention in the main story is the aunt may and Jefferson Davis death. The rest is just God forsaken boring with the boring swinging animations and nothing else to do but look at a BEAUTIFUL POLISHED CITY. "?"But hey Spiderman has a new suit and he can catch trains, and unpack towers while reading news paper? Oh my! GOODIE GOODIE WOW! THIS IS THE Best Spiderman game we've ever seen up to DATE 10/10 YES 👏 😃 oh and snapshots " Bro accept it seriously this game ain't even close to the amount I had on ultimate Spiderman, edge of time nor Shattered dimensions or web of shadows or Spiderman 2. I have good reasons why. Shattered dimensions played as 4 different timeliness of Spiderman to save the universe of mysterio from becoming a god like Dr. doom that was a more impactul story over Dr Oct and the boring sinister 6 plot. Edge of time once again Spiderman saves his universe and Miguel's future. Ultimate Spiderman you learn why Eddie and Peter's DNA was perfect for mutation of symbiosis and spider mutation plus the challenges are underrated. Spiderman 2. Besides the swing pizza time is memorable and the swinging on new York statue of liberty on Spiderman 3 too is unforgettable you mean to tell me we have a new Spiderman on ps4 graphics but he can't go to the statue of liberty but he can take pictures ??? No the developers need a complaint on that one. Now you see why I think Marvel's Spiderman ps4 and miles morales in a sense they both are overrated they aren't bad games just bland.

All you literally do in the Avengers game is mash mash mash. That's it. The Avengers game is dogshit, not only because of the bugs, not only because of the story that no one cares about, not only because of how the levels are just too linear for certain characters which is basically every single character, not only because of the combat, but because of the damn microtransactions. You have to literally buy almost EVERY cosmetic item in Avengers, while Insomniac just gives it to you even tho you have to find certain items or do crimes. Hell, even the GOTG game did a better job than Avengers when it comes to combat, story, and cosmetic items. Choose actual facts over your obviously wrong opinion you're pushing as fact

Absolutely, especially on an Ultimate difficulty playthrough. You're pretty much forced to move with superhuman speed and agility to survive that. It really drives home the feeling of being Spider-Man.

Tbh I kind of like the eyes in the avengers one, that inner camera lenses in the eyes is pretty cool detail, and the webbing that he shoots on the wall is pretty nice detail, also the texture and some designs of the different suits look pretty neat as well, obviously insomniac is a 1,000 times better over all but there are some nice things about the other one

Insomniac - Highly detailed in terms of Graphics, gameplay and overall depth. Swinging is accelerated in addition to momentum and web always sticks to nearby objects. Avengers - Slapped in blocky textures, weird animation and postures, uncomfortable camera angles and shitty slow traversal. Swinging movement is so slow and web always aimed upwards which unrealistically anchors on air.

I think the biggest issue with the Avengers Spider-Man design is that there's either a little too much detail or a little too much emphasis on realism. Like you can have detail and realism in how the character looks, functions, or behaves, but it can't be the only thing you depend on. Are there some details in the Avengers design that are cool? Absolutely. The eyes look nice, and the effects surrounding the Webs when he shoots them out are neat. But, you can kinda tell they paid a majority of their attention to the details of the character's design and not necessarily on his functionality. Spider-Man still needs to have some suspension of disbelief regarding all of that. That's what makes the PS4 version the best; it doesn't sacrifice fun for the sake of realism.

Hay teorías de que se supondría sería un universo compartido de videojuegos, y que no serían los únicos que estarían entrelazados, que sólo serían el primer paso a un "Universo de Videojuegos de Marvel" (MVU), y hay pruebas de probablemente sí iba a ser así. Un productor de Spider-Man más o menos dijo que si todo salía bien, Marvel estaría dejando a "Marvel's Spider-Man" para los videojuegos como lo es "Iron-Man" para las películas. Explicaría, entre algunas cosas, el porqué del retraso tan extendido del DLC, el porqué de una referencia hacia los vengadores (que están en la costa oeste [igual que en el juego de Avengers]) que está en el juego de Spidey, el porqué del cambio del modelo facial para la versión de PS5 de Spider-Man, que suponen es porque se iba a reutilizar al mismo modelo para esta nueva versión de la araña y debido al fracaso que fue, prefirieron deslindar los proyectos y dejar a la nueva versión sin un modelo facial, que no sé cómo es que se sabe, pero iba a tener una skin sin máscara. También existen movimientos de los personajes que se parecen bastante o que son literalmente los mismos, como demuestran algunos videos que hay. Y como cereza del pastel está la curiosidad de que ambos juegos (junto con el de los Guardianes de la Galaxia y el próximo de Wolverine) llevan "Marvel's" en el nombre, cosa que ningún otro juego llevaba antes de la marca.

Tienen diferentes creadores el juego de guardianes de la galaxia y el marvel avengers son de square enix (Que yo creo que estan en un mismo universo). Y por otra parte tenemos a marvels spiderman y el miles morales y proximamente el juego de wolverine (Que supongo van a formar otro universo) De insomniac y ademas que confirmaron de que el spiderman es diferente a la del marvel avengers

El modelo 3D me gusta más el de Spiderman, en textura el de Avengers (menos los ojos, eso están feos jaja) En jugabilidad pues obviamente Spiderman, es un juego pulido y optimizado para este personaje. Se nota que en Avengers solo está para cumplir con lo que los trajeados querían.

There's something about insomniac's spider man that feels way much better, the swing, punches. The other spider man is good, but he feels slow for some reason, and the punches he does feels like it doesn't have any weight onto it. Maybe it's just me, both are unique in their own way. I have to admit the textures on the classic Avengers suit really feel like something that you can reach and touch, looks like rubber. The insomniac suit just doesn’t give me the same vibes. Don’t get me wrong the insomniac Spider-Man is superior without a doubt, will always be my favourite. La gente sigue hablando de Spiderman de Avengers como si el juego fuera en torno a solo el personaje. En este juego el solo es un héroe más, también es exclusivo de Sony. No hay que ser un genio para entender qué Spiderman PS4 siempre será mejor, es como comparar una planta completa con una hoja, la planta es el juego y la hoja es Spiderman de Avengers, y solo es parte del mismo. Respeto las decisiones ajenas, pero a mi me ha parecido bien en un juego enfocado en el trabajo en equipo con múltiples personajes.

Veo muchos comentarios que no saben diferenciar entre uno y el otro uno es un juego dedicado a spiderman y su mundo está enfocado al 100% en este mismo mientras que el otro es un juego con 8 personajes con diferentes mecánicas y gameplay sumando a spiderman ahora que viene con más mecánicas en conclusión la comparación es muy dispareja ya que obviamente el de insomniac se va a lucir más por estar este enfocado solo y únicamente en spiderman a diferencia de la versión de square Enix que es un dlc y ya

Bro, esta secuela de Avengers va enfocada en Spiderman si miras el nombre completo del juego. Y además no es que se trate de copiar al Spiderman de insomniac pero debieron de haber pulido muchísimos detalles que hacen que este se vea un poco ridículo, como sostenerse del cielo o subir paredes. Sinceramente no me gusta como Crystal dinamics maneja la temática de los vengadores, pero en fin, cada quien tiene sus gustos y son respetables

A mí punto de vista, si van a sacar algo por mas mínimo que sea, deberían de pulirlo buen. Que le costaba a Square Enix pulir bien el apartado de Spiderman, con algunas buenas físicas o con un buen balanceo.

Al jugar ambos juegos te das cuenta que en Avengers han hecho lo posible por acercarse a la jugabilidad del juego de Insomniac. En mi opinión, es una excelente recreación que se acerca más de lo que creía. Hay movimientos literalmente clavados y sacados del juego de Insomniac que ahora podemos usar en Avengers. Me ha sorprendido, la verdad.

Insomnia is perfect, Avengers is a knockoff. I got to level 50 and power level 150 in less than 30 hours but the strangest thing happened. I got to my levels above and screenshot them for friend to see i got thier before him and was sat on just over 2500 melee and just over 2400 heroic with roughly 1500 defense and roughly 1200 range. Then after i completed a mission roughly after ps4 patch my Melee and Heroic dropped by 300 each roughly now im sat around 2200 ? Significant power drop on my spidey and i didnt even change my Iso nor my gears, apart from defense which is now at 1800 through an exotic for Resolve/Resilience that didnt affect the other areas. Either my spidey is broke through new gear system or im the only one who as recorded and noticed the spidey nerf via imagery. Im not happy at all spent hours on him, messed up my sleep pattern to notice a massive difference were others ispoke to randomly have not noticed any number drop, funny thing though it started to do this soon as i hit championship levels more i upgraded.

The only credit I will give the avengers spiderman is the physical build. I would live insomniac to have given spiderman this medium build in the game because it fits just as much as the leaner build he has and much better than the muscle heavy build that ghost spider and a couple others have in insomniacs

The graphics in avengers seemed much more realistic to me (at least anywhere but the city) and I liked how they did the webbing and lenses in it. Tbf I think I like both suits equally. The rest, ps4 obviously takes the cake. While I like the way the blue and red is layer out on Avengers, it also looks like pajamas.
