Filmed this a little bit different from other spoilers talks, where it was more off the cuff and just conversational than just spouting out a bunch of "review facts" if you know what I mean. Let me know what you think. Just trying different ways to bring reviews to you. Thanks as always!

Ya, loved that whole conversation. You could see him slowly piecing it together. The conversation started out like i could have been just a coincidence but then he started piecing together that spiderman shows up when peter disappears and asks just the right questions to confirm it.

Mike Goubeaux In Ultimates Gwen Stacy is killed by carnage and later comes back as a clone. Peter tells aunt may. Aunt May gets pissed kicks out Peter and Clone Stacy. Peter's dead father comes in but he's a clone. Nick Fury attacks the house with his spider slayers. Clone Gwen transforms into carnage aunt may has a heart attack. So it's a bit different ;)

Black Flash that was a pretty cheesy scene. They could've kept out the part where he talks to himself and possibly Stark's voice and it would've been more powerful to see him look at his reflection/mask.

I really enjoyed this movie! My favorite moments were: 1. When Peter walks into the Homecoming dance, Michelle smiles and waves at him then flips him off right after 😂 my girlfriend and I were dying from laughter. 2. The entire ferry sequence was so fun and I was on the edge of my seat even though I knew how it would be resolved! The sequence was amazing in 3D. 3. The moment when Adrian Toomes is revealed to actually be the father of Liz, and the scene with him and Peter that follows is so intense! 4. When Spider-Man gets to the top of The Washington Monument, he has a moment to himself about how tall it is. It just made me realize he’s just a kid but he’ll eventually be swinging through even taller buildings when he’s a full-fledged hero in New York! 5. Finally, the powerful scene where Peter has to dig deep, find the true hero in himself (as a person AND as Spider-Man) to push the debris off. Tom Holland’s acting was especially incredible then.

punkrocker4life9674 they're all really great moments; I especially love the computer AI and the reference she made to the previous Spider-Man movie or that warehouse scene or he's testing out all his abilities, I really hate the whole nerd War that's going on with who's the best Spider-Man and there are people that hate this movie just too because Tom Holland is not Tobey Maguire or he's not the Spider-Man they recognize, all I recognize is a good ass movie; but you know nostalgia brings out the worst in people too.

I think the little references to the MCU (the teacher mentioning Sokovia, for example) were totally awesome, showing us these world-changing events on a ground level. That seems to be the point of the film, giving us a peek inside the MCU from the perspective of someone who's grown up in the age of the Avengers, instead of one of the core players in these climactic stories. It's kinda like what the TV shows have been doing.

Spider-Man: Homecoming is spectacular! I loved everything about it (maybe not Flash, but pretty much everything) and Michael Keaton as the Vulture was honestly one of the best MCU villains we've had in a while. But the one thing that made me love this movie was the reference to The Amazing Spider-Man #33 The Final Chapter. For those who don't recall it's the scene where Peter gets stuck under that huge wall and can't get out. And OMG it's so beautiful! "C'mon Peter...c'mon Spider-Man!" It's literally ripped out of the comic. Overall, one of my favorite MCU films. 9.5/10

That parking garage scene was my favorite. The conversation between Spider-Man and The Prowler was hilarious. And the fact that they made fun of batman made it even better. (I guess thats what DC gets for saying Iron Man sux in The Lego Batman Movie💀)

Thanks for being positive on the Zendaya/MJ thing. I feel like I'm so in the minority with the fact that everything I've seen or heard about that has made me happy. I love the Mary Jane of the comics, and I've wanted to see a really good adaptation of her, but every adaptation has written her as a flat, boring love interest which is the opposite of Comics MJ, who was written to be a weird side character and not his love interest. As a result, she was allowed to grow as a character in her own right and she and Pete fell in love as a matter of course. So I keep hearing all this stuff about her role in the movie and it sounds like exactly what I want from a real MJ, even if she's a little . . . updated in her weirdness, I guess. But everyone else seems to hate her as MJ because "she's nothing like the MJ they know," which honestly is probably the movie or cartoon version, not the comic version. Anyway, finally hearing someone be positive about her makes me feel a little better. Thank you. P.S. That said, I still have yet to see the movie and maybe I won't like it either. But all the reasons others have given so far seem to match up with what I want, rather than what I don't want.

In the comic you meet "MJ" in college. Here she is only 15 and... its perfect! It's the girl I can see BECOMING the woman you meet later. (Also saw a teaser/behind the scene interview where she and Tom Holland are hosting.... in character! Do not worry about lack of chemistry in future movies)

Andre, I agree wholeheartedly with you that this group would do a very interesting take on the origin story. I loved this movie. It moved along quickly, and I think this is the first time I really bought Peter as a high school student. Michael Keaton brings such a malice to his character that even as a man just trying to provide for his family, he is one of the best villains the MCU has created. I'll be seeing this again.

I loved the fact that Tony was an influence. This made me think so much of Spiderman and his amazing friends. Makes me wonder if that concept used in the movie was a little nod to that show.

Even though Spider-Man's suit was really high tech in this movie and had AI, I think that it kind of worked... In the comics, Peter Parker talks to himself a lot and the movie uses Karen as an opportunity for him to think out loud without it being too out of place or weird. He also talks to Karen about certain things he doesn't talk to Ned about, which I liked.

Andre! As someone who is so uneducated about Marvel (comics and all that follows) I really enjoy your reviews! I just saw Homecoming today and the first thing I did when I got home was look for your spoiler review. This review in my opinion is the perfect mix of informative and casual. Especially for someone like me who wouldn't get half of the movie references without you mentioning them! (Like I didn't even get the MJ reference. I know. I'm that bad...)
