I think action figure collectors have become really nitpicky with figures. Most of these figures end in shelves and in shelves they will look good

I always see people make slight complaints about figures not being able to move their legs back very far at the hip. This is a bit confusing, your leg isn’t meant to move back very far like that at all!

Have you never seen a gymnast? Spider-man's agility would definitely allow him to move his leg back like a gymnast.

@ see, when gymnasts do it the rock their lower torso backwards, it’s a trick of rolling the hip and arching the back that gets you into a front facing splits! When you look at the structure of the pelvis you can see that legs don’t really look like they should go backwards very far

@@linusfornow look harder, plenty of pictures of them doing the split with the body perpendicular to the ground with no arching of the back. You can tell their leg is moving backward way more than the pathetic range the figures get from the way the back leg press into the posterior muscle.

@ notice the rotation of the pelvis and the slight angle in the pelvis? It’s subtle but it’s to get round our limited backwards leg capability. Believe me! I’ve done taekwondo and stretched my legs (it was very sore) into strange positions! But you can’t move hips backwards farther than maybe 45 degrees and even so, that’s pretty impressive!

@@linusfornow I see the problem now, you keep looking at front splits when you should be looking at square splits where there are no hip rotation, both hip bone pointing straight forward not arching of the back and no “tricks”.

I really like the figures. All the spiderverse figures use the same type of plastic and it’s fine, in my opinion.

It used to be that toys didn't look like on the box because they only had 5 joints, now it's still a case that they can't pose the way they do in the movies because of the limits of super-articulation. Then Japan swoops in like a salesman at your door

I wound up going with the Figuarts version for Spider-Man India because the Legends seemed ridiculously cheap, and not in a good way. The Prowler-Miles had potential, but still gonna require a lot of thought if I should get it or not. Hopefully Figuarts comes out with their own version of him...

Bro really just compared an animated movie toy with live action, of course the live action figures look better, the animated ones look flatter and less detailed becuase thats how the movie is and since hasbro hates paint they arent gonna bother with the subtle black lines the movie has

I'm a Spiderman fan and want to love ML. I have a bunch but... Let's be real here... They are made cheap yes. The price has been going higher and higher and the quality is definitely dropping. I get being a fan boy and all, but the quality for the price is not lining up. Yes I agree, the plastic quality does feel like McDonald's or BK Happy Meal toys.

As much I defend ML, I've always found the movie figures lacking in love. The comic figures are often very good imo. Also, I myself and impatiently waiting for SHF to do Prowler Miles. Going to look great!

This figures are fantastic, the best of the wave.. all new sculpts, great paint apps, and unique sculpts for both, and can get them in pretty much any pose you want, especially spider India, which I’ve taking plenty of shots of on my figure insta

then just sell them, if you don't like them then maybe you're not the audience and there are other offers out there with both characters like Pavitr has a SHF version coming out and good toys 1/12 Prowler Miles

The problem is that these are figures apart of a wave and have to share a budget, you could always drop a hundo on the SH figuarts version of Spider Man India but do you really care about the character that much? I don't think the Spider-verse designs lend themselves to be toys honestly.
