Later on, we find out that it was the symbiote who defeated the six wearing peter's body whereas here, it's Peter being defeated by the six wearing the suit. A early sign of this is that spider man is known to talk alot in battle like here, but notice later on, Spider man doesn't speak a single word.

About the recent Spidey 2 game; I have a voice acting background and have to say that Yuri Lowenthal's performance has been such an inspiration for me since the Prince of Persia Trilogy. The vocal training was really tough, sometimes without noticeable results for months but actors like him and the late Kevin Conroy are a great impulse to not give up. You almost saw me as Leon in those new RE games :)

Spider-man actually breaks through carbonadium which is one of the most indestructible metals in Marvel third to Vibranium and Adamantium. I am guessing Peter’s strength increases as he gains more experience so reinforced steel would be too easy for him.
