@@scripton_ytNo. You unlock the mission thread that leads up to this after you finish “Stay Positive”, the mission where you have to keep Harry safe as he works on the cure for the Lizard. I know many people think it would be done after the end because of Chameleon’s dialogue here. A slight oversight on Insomniac’s part is that Chameleon still says that line about avenging his brother even if you complete this side mission thread before the end of the game. Some will claim that this “spoils the end”, but the game hints multiple times at Kraven’s fate before this if you pay attention or know anything about Kraven in general (particularly the most famous storyline with him). That said, Peter’s dialogue (and presumably for Miles too if you do this mission with him) to the revelation of Chameleon and Kraven being brothers is different if you do this before or after Kraven’s death.

I would love for this game to get two expansion stories the size of Miles Morales. First expansion deals with Carnage as it adapts the Maximum Carnage story. While the second adapts the story about Peter’s parents, Chameleon was mentored by the man who murdered Peter’s parents. Perhaps an espionage story which could rap up that loose thread from the first game and bring back Silver Sable.

This game’s story is well paced, takes its time build characters, world build that it flows seamlessly. I have to be honest, the story has more emotional impact, epic moments and flows better than any of the Batman Arkham games. So if Insomniac wants to develop a few bonus standalone games in order to tell a fantastic final chapter. I’m all in, more Spidey content from this universe is a bonus in my book.

I could see him as a side mission, or maybe as part of the DLC story since those they’d to be lower stakes. Chameleon isn’t much of a fighter, even against a normal person with a baseball bat, so I wouldn’t be surprised if you don’t play as a Spider (at least not in costume) whilst confronting him.

What i like is unlike the comics, Chameleon actually loved his brother and wanted what was best for him. Chameleon is usually one note or deranged, but hearing him try to repair his family is something i can sympathize with. And Chameleon blaming Spiderman for his death makes him a more personal enemy than he ever has been. I really hope the dlcs finish this story. Chameleon is often forgotten because hes a product of marvels really early days. But insomniac is really making him interesting

I realized something a while back, going back to the scene where MJ was in the tunnel with symbiote Peter, while Miles was fighting off Kraven’s goons. Remember the guy who was about to fall off the crane and then stuck Miles with the sedative after Miles saved him? I think that was the chameleon. The game made it a point to reference him later when Miles said, “who was that guy that knocked me out?”

Actually, I might know who the Chameleon is in the game. Most of the times you help an injured person get to an ambulance, it is the same character model - older Hispanic man with a wrinkled face, hoodie, and wireless earphones. There are robot drones across the city. You have to tag behind the drones with your web wings in order to collect data from the drones. Once it reaches 100 percent you can destroy the drones. Once you do all of them you are given the location to Chameleons apartment.

@@watershipfalls5520 Oh!? Uh idk actually? If you already tried resetting the game and that didn’t work then I honestly say you might have to just restart or unless it’s like the flame and EMF missions and the last one is locked until you get to a certain point in the game’s main story.

@@watershipfalls5520 Actually that might be the case because when I beat this mission Chameleon said “Don’t worry brother I will finish what you couldn’t” and that was after Kraven was already dead in the main missions

Im Pretty sure it was Chameleon disguised as the construction worker falling off the crane who stuck Miles with the needle. Not sure y since he was helping Kraven but... Hey, it's just a theory........ a Game Theory!!!

There is a side mission where you chase robot birds around the city collecting data on Kravens newest target. It seems you are chasing multiple entries until you figure out all the targets have the same DNA.
