I love how they gave Miles’ the show without demeaning, deconstructing, or killing off Peter. They have a real reason for him to learn the ropes solo and even gave Peter a pseudo-parental role which is just awesome. The little conversations like this are so telling, too. The writers and voice actors did an amazing job.

Peter is completely incompent in this game, he gets his ass kicked by Rhino like a dumbass and lets him rampage through the city without even trying to stop him and when Miles beats him he doesn't even make sure he gets arrested, After that he goes to Symkaria and leaves the entire city in the hands of a kid that's barely trained.

Peter does that a lot just leaves villains where ever he beat them he did that in the first game with the guy in the helicopter with Otto with the sinister six and with random enemies 3: did you forget that spider man was a “barely trained kid” when he was spider man of course he has faith in miles at least miles has some experience before going solo Peter had to learn everything by himself while having no help

@@leik7728 1. id agree with that except for the fact that when he's not saving people he's chilling in Rhino's back quipping without trying to punch him or web him or stop him, not to mention that taking him out fast would prevent more people from being in danger. Also he got hit with the tank because he kept riding him like a dumbass instead of fucking moving out of the way like Spider-Man would. 2. Yeah in the first game he doesn't leave them with the obviously evil death troopers of the obviously evil businessman, not to mention he could have easily waited for the police on the roof with miles. 3. Exactly, Peter almost got himself killed when he was young and had nobody to help him which is why he wouldn't want Miles to go through the same thing. He doesn't even give him the phone of another superhero, since this a shared universe and he's 8 years into being Spider-Man he should know at least one other superhero.

@@spiderblood999 ok yeah him being on his back was kinda stupid actually they were trying to web things to stop him from moving into the tank, but they could have gotten off and did that anyway, before that wtf are you gonna punch you can see in gameplay when you punch rhino it does nothing unless you venom stun him The thing with roxon was pretty bad writing but at the same time he meant some shady ass people if this is a multi shared universe he probably meant punisher a shady ass guy also silver sable shady person later turned good, plus he probably had his head spinning with getting beat by rhino and all that just happened And it probably only is cameo shared universe since don’t you think someone would have helped Peter in the first game y’know before Otto spread covid, and Peter didn’t really think it would get to bad but when it did his first instinct was to come straight back and help but miles insisted on Peter staying in sakaria or whatever they were

@@leik7728 Dude gameplay isn't canon that's why Peter and Miles have trouble with normal goons, also during the chase Miles clearly punches Rhino and that hurts him even without venom it's just that since Miles is much weaker than Peter he needs his venom powers to beat him. Peter beats the shit out of Rhino in the first game without venom powers until Scorpion saves him and even then they still get theirs asses kicked.

I really do like the whole miles trying to prove himself and try to handle this situation on his own. I also like Peter acting as a protective older brother to miles ready to drop everything and come home to help him. Its cool to see and I'm glad Pete can finally have time to take breaks and enjoy himself confident in leaving miles to take care of the city.
