I'm glad more people understand now that Garfield definitely wasn't a bad Spiderman, it was simply the writing, and I would love for him to be a live action version of the PS4 Spiderman if he gets another chance. He would fit well as an awkward adult who is still trying his best to juggle both lives even if it causes financial instability.
@inka-on6mt3 жыл бұрын
his portrayal of spiderman was the best in my opinion! he perfectly captured the sassiness of spiderman (staying true to the comics) but I think tobey captured peter's awkwardness the best :) tom is kind of a mix of both. So garfield was amazing, you're right, not his fault the writing was bad
@bigfish55443 жыл бұрын
Honestly I loved the amazing spiderman as movies. The first one was especially good, and though the second one was very sloppy it at least got the merit for being truly heartbreaking. Also yeah, Andrew was amazing
@Life_and_Gaming3 жыл бұрын
Why would there be a live action version of the PS4 spider-man, and why would it be Andrew when he looks nothing like him in the game? I mean I assume you disliked the redesigned face for PS5 but regardless of your preference there that’s what his face looks like canonically now for that variant. But more importantly, there’s no reason to do it in live action. If you wanna bring that Spidey into a live action film, just have him be animated with CGI with Yuri voicing him. Same with the animated Into the Spider-verse characters. And if we see Tom, Tobey, and/or Andrew in ATS I’d hope they’d just a be reverse-Roger Rabbit situation where they’re live action in an animated environment.

@@gatsbygoodwood2575 oh we all know Tobey was the first and remains the best, like everything DC is compared to the MCU! Just concise, to-the-point plots and a nerdy teen that we watched become THE Spider-Man.
@intj14343 жыл бұрын
The interactions between the three were actually quite wholesome, the way they were building one another up 😂 it also addressed the difference in web production. Having seen Tobey's version first, i had always found it confusing that Andrew's and Tom's versions synthesized their web rather than shooting them right out of their wrists like Tobey's. All in all was amazing seeing them together.
@Haggysack2k83 жыл бұрын
I'm honest, i never watched the Andrew Spider Man movies, but the Tobey movies. I never liked Tobey, he always seemed like he's 100% mentally not there in the moment, like his brain was always on zone-out-mode Andrew just looked kinda stupid and clichee "sexy new and very young guy saves sexy young girl from evil" like... How to explain this fast and simple? You know these clichees they tend to make when talking about a remake like "Switch out this old and iconic actor for a fresh young one and make it hip for the cool kids!" type Tom was good from the get go. The first i saw him as Spider Man, i liked him. He really seemed like the actually nice-guy chill neighbour kid forced to live two lifes, he actually seemed perfect for Spider Man to me. Then i re-watched Tobey's movies this year. I still think he seems to be zoned out 99% of the time, but (and i don't know why) now i really like him as Spidey and Peter. And of course i re-watched the movies because of "Hello Peter!" from No Way Home trailer. Knowing from the trailer alone that atleast Molina as Dr. Ock and Green Goblin (potentially Dafoe) would be in this was the most perfect thing for this trailer in terms of cranking up hype levels. And the theories went wild. ...As for the Andrew Movies, i still haven't watched even one of them. But No Way Home alone made me like Andrew as Peter/Spidey, too. Conclusion: One movie. One movie was needed to make me appreciate 3 different actors in the same role. And this movie really nailed just fucking everything. 10/10 Because in my opinion there's nothing bad to say about No Way Home, it's grandmaster-level of masterpiece. Pure perfection. ...Also the memes. Even the memes were used to their full potential. *Perfection*

@@aaronlock5091 fr it sounded like a bunch of bones breaking but the liquid oozing out of them at the same time. It was disgusting. I wish they make a TASM3 and bring her back somehow (it’s a sci fi/superhero movie, so they can definitely do it) and maybe a little love triangle with with MJ (Shailene Woodley was supposed to play her in tasm2 but got cut) but I want him to end up with Gwen idk that’s just my view on it.
