I’ve got a lot to say. First off, it breaks my heart that Andrew never got to continue as Spider-Man. If there was anyone who deserved the role, it was him. His performance never fails to move me to tears and his passion never fails to make me realize how much he loved the character and how much it meant to him. Every action he makes, every bit of dialogue he speaks, every bit of himself is complete dedicated to the role. I’m glad they brought him back in NWH along with Tobey. When I saw him turn around in the alleyway with those big white eyes and jump through the portal I wooped and hollered and cheered. It absolutely shatters me that they may never make a third film for him and give him that closure he so rightfully deserves. I think both his movies, no matter how flawed they were, were nothing short of Amazing. Lastly, the final scene here is incredible. The fact that Spider-Man can give people so much hope that a little kid in a Spider-Man Halloween costume breaks away from his parent to face a giant mechanical rhinoceros is crazy to me. Spider-Man is a symbol meant to inspire people to be brave and hopeful and he did just that. When he returns and tells the kid he’s the bravest he’s ever known but still keeps him out of harms way is just what a hero should be. He should be someone who lifts others up and cares for them and their safety. That’s what Spider-Man is, a hero. Andrew’s Spider-Man was human, he was vulnerable and a broken man. He’d suffered loss beyond imagination and gave in to the very human emotion of grief and he gave up. But he still picked himself up and came back when he was most needed. I absolutely love Tobey with all my heart, but there’s something about Andrew that’s so human and so relatable. I hope they give him more work in the future because I love his Spider-Man and I want him to have a conclusion. Thank you Andrew, for all the memories and the good times. If anyone deserves to play Spider-Man it’s you. You will always be, Spider-Man.

I love this scene because it is as if Peter Parker is speaking to Spiderman directly, when Peter says "hey spiderman" and the kid who is Spiderman in this position says "I knew you'd be back" it's beautifully represented how Peter comes to terms with his other persona, Peter's emotions cannot take over the responsibility of being Spiderman

Even when we can't imagine going forward. We have to. There will always be men like that. Men who hurt and destroy. But there will also be men like Spider-Man. It takes one of us to stand. Why is it that people like you are so quick to idolize a fictional character, but you’re so slow to acknowledge Jesus Christ? A real live person who is literally everything you described spiderman as, and more. People see this and will be quick to say Jesus doesn’t exist, then they’ll be whining moaning and crying about how people like spiderman don’t exist lol. We don’t need people like spiderman, he’s a fictional character. A great one, but a fake one. We all need Jesus Christ. He’s far more loving and enduring and amazing than the fictional Peter Parker. Seek Christ. He’s God, and he’s present. He’s the Holy Spirit.

This ending to The Amazing Spider-Man 2 and the ending to Spider-Man No Way Home are of the best, not just in Marvel but almost in movie history. The message of hope when depression, anxiety, perhaps even suicide and loss, is powerful. I think many of us can relate to this. We can never give up hope or faith. Beautiful film.

An actual movie of this would have been nice though. Call me old fashioned, but in most stories with a 3 act structure this would be the big low point that happens to the protagonist in the second act or a bit earlier. Everything after that would be him finding his way again. But I guess the Sony executives didn’t want a Spider Man movie to get too ultra depressing.

Reminds me a bit of the story of Spider-Bite who was Spider-Man's sidekick but in reality he was just a kid with cancer who was spending time and playing with Spider-Man. When it was time for Spidey to go and him to go to bed, he refused because he was afraid he may not wake up again, Spidey did a last favor for the kid by asking for a coat and bringing him outside to swing together. It's those little moments that let you remember that Spider-Man is one of the most wholesome superheroes in comics.

I find myself keep coming back to this clip. My mother took her life recently and it's broken the whole family. She was a brilliant woman and we loved her more than anything. The character of Spider-man has helped me so much throughout my life and still does. I was always inspired by how Peter can lose everything and everyone. And he still puts that mask back on and keeps pushing forward. And I need to follow in his footsteps. Remember to be grateful for all the people you have who love and care for you. Because any day could be the last day you see them. I'll always remember that "we have to be greater than what we suffer".

I don't think so. The problem is the 3rd movie or the "Amazing" franchise was suppose to branch out to Sinister Six and Venom. And Sony has other plans now. They already launched 2 Venom movies. Morbius coming out soon and the planned Kraven movie.

@sixforks6543
@sixforks6543 2 жыл бұрын
@@mrcrazy7865 They could easily so this under the Spiderverse umbrella, maybe cross them over with other MCU IP as well. The multiverse MCU stuff and Spiderverse games/media being pushed recently has already let the cat outta the bag and people clearly wanted sequels/closure to both of the previous Spiderman movie franchises so it makes sense, as long as all their ducks are in a row, contracts wise. It'd just be a bunch of meta rolled into 2 movies released the same year with a schedule like they did with The Matrix Reloaded and Revolutions and then a team up feature where all 3 Spideys fight evil-doers in another movie released Q4 that year or the following year. If all the actors were up for it again and was done well, it'd be guaranteed to print that sweet box office money.

“a bunch of the best spiderman scenes weve ever seen amongst a mess of a movie” has been the closest description of it ive seen. The opening web-slinging, the first encounter with electro, and the ending are all great, the rest is painfully bad. The music is unquestionably great, and that suit is just so good. Shame it turned out the way it did, but at least we got this.
