Andrew. Really injected a his own style into the classic Peter/Spider-Man. While his age may be far above that of a high schooler, his acting makes up for it entirely. He proved to be the epitome of the Trash Talking Spidey from the comics, while maintaining a relatively nerdy and awkward Parker. People say he wasn’t nerdy enough, but the guy got beat up in the first 20 minutes of the movie. Even though his movies weren’t without flaw, the emotional scenes absolutely killed it. Gwens death, for me, was more emotional than Starks death. And don’t even get me started with the swinging/fighting scenes, completely nailed it with Peter bouncing to and fro as he uses his spider sense to dodge Electro’s attacks. The only points I can’t really give the Amazing series is the dialogue the studio wrote for them. 9/10 Spidey, in my opinion.

do u know that FFH spiderman (especially during the final fight) can literally clap the sht out of cap and bucky? they were lucky in civil war that he was still inexperienced in fighting "real" enemies and not just burglars. FFH spiderman literally dodges drone bullets and has also perfected his spider sense abilities. Fun fact, In the official handbook of the marvel universe, people with super soldier serum (super soldiers) can only carry up to 800 pounds BUT spiderman can carry up to 20,000 pounds making him 25 times more powerful and stronger than both cap and bucky. He could literally catch cap's shield easily and throw it sooo far away that he can't use it in battle, decreasing cap's combat abilities. Every punch that the super soldiers hit on peter, if he catches it, its literally like nothing to him (as we also saw in the airport scene where bucky throws a strooong punch but peter catches it like nothing and let's not forget that he was inexperienced at the time). And spidey is not just powrrful, he's also fast and agile AND he's also very smart than cap or bucky (i mean obviously). He could literally think of ways in defeating them both while fighting them 😂

@furionmax78243 жыл бұрын
I think the best aspects of Holland's spiderman are two fold. One: his costume is rather IRL accurate. Peters in highschool and jobless so he doesn't have the luxury of money. It's all home made and the suit he's wearing is more than likely something he got from good will. Same for the webshooter with the dumpster bc he is a dumpster diver when it comes to finding tech. He had a first gen PC in his room when we met him remember? Then there's the overall events. It's just like Spectacular Spiderman where Spiderman saves the day, but, he ended up doing more harm then good and everyone blames him for the fallout when the villain was the one that started it. Holland's Peter does more harm than good bc he's not careful enough but he's learning which is good. I remember back in Spectacular Spiderman with Captain Jupiter. Remember that? It focused on Jameson using a new suit to enhance his son in order to combat Spiderman. Eventually the suit drove him mad and he had to be imprisoned until he stabilized. To that day Jameson blames Spidey for how his son turned out when it was his idea in the first place. The villains do this to themselves and use Spidey as a scape goat or an excuse. But that also fits Visions equation back in Civil War. Power gives rise to more power.

The Maguire and Garfield fans who keep saying that their suits are much more realistic than Holland's and complain that his' are too reliant on Stark tech didn't think that Spidey is more into Science than into costume design and being knowledgeable in the former doesn't always mean you're good in the latter. So its more realistic for a HIGH SCHOOL KID who doesn't have the resources of a playboy billionaire to use casual clothes as a makeshift costume and let an actual professional design for him the classic red and blue Spidey suit. And since it was made from Stark Industries, of course its reasnoable for it to have high-end tech.

It always annoys me how people always mock Tom's Spiderman for "being an Ironman fanboy" and "weakling with stark tech who just wants to be ironman". Like have they not seen any of Tom's films? The entire point of the first one is the suit isn't what's important as he does fine without it, and the second is that he *isn't* Ironman and is his own thing. He's the closest we've gotten to young Spiderman from the comics, he just got the outside help from stark since realistically he wouldn't be able to tailor his own suit like the others did. And he's coming up with his own upgrades anyways after he got the tools to do so.

This version of Spider-man is only about 16-17 years old and they expect him to act like mature Tobie Spider-man. To me the most out of character one was Andrew Spider-man, he's so not our normal nerdy Spider-man but a cool skating kid that is confident on himself and popular.
@aetriandimitri1903 жыл бұрын
@@Salmagros in my opinion Tobey was a great *older* Peter, not one who just got their powers, however was a terrible Spiderman since he completely missed the quips and attitude. Andrew was a terrible Peter (he was way more nerdy than Tobey but came off as a jock and cool kid, which ruined it completely), but was an amazing Spiderman, his quips were the best, although he also seemed like an older Peter since naturally you wouldn't get *that* good at quips overnight. People have kinda just gotten used to Peter being an adult that instantly masters his powers and forget he's supposed to be a young teenager. Like mcu Peter had only been fighting street level thugs, of course vulture would fk him over he's never been in a fight besides the airport battle and he didn't do great. And obviously he's not going to be super acrobatic and be hyper skilled with his webs, those things must have a serious learning curve and Peter has to hold back his punches to not murder people. And also none of Peter's abilities make him instantly good at acrobatics and maneuverability. He's physically stronger but he still has to train to do all those sick flips and everything. The fact the other Spidermen were able to just instantly do everything immediately after getting their powers was unrealistic and set the expectation the mcu Peter should also instantly be that strong.

I think it’s less about him being Iron Man’s protege and more about Peter having to have a new mentor like figure for every one of his movies so far. First we get Iron Man, then Nick Fury, and now Doctor Strange. I understand this Peter Parker is still suppose to be a kid, but Raimi’s Spider-Man took down a supervillain with absolutely no help when he was just 18. It just feels like Disney and Sony use other MCU characters to prop up Spidey when they should just let him stand up on his own for an entire film for once. I know they do it for marketability reasons because it’ll get more asses in seats at the theatre, but it’s starting to get old watching this version of Spider-Man not be allowed to helm his own movie without other MCU characters taking the spot light.

Lol it came full circle after no way home. Peter never ever wanted anyone to die. Whether Peter Parker was an Avenger or not. He never stopped caring about doing the right thing even if it costed his life. People were very quick to hate this Peter because he wasn’t Tobey then made every argument possible to justify it. Calling him Iron Man jr when Peter was Spider-Man BEFORE Tony picked him up in civil war. He didn’t make Spider-Man. Peter was Spider-Man for AT LEAST six months as told by the MCU. It’s not like Peter became spider-man seeking Tony’s approval one day. Civil War literally established everything for Peter. Homecoming only pushed that Toms internal desire to not be treated like a nobody, btw. For those screaming and throwing tantrums about comic accurate content. Toms Peter complaining about being a competent hero, THATS IN THE COMICS. Peter in the comics has had internal conflicts about being as competent as Daredevil or Fantastic Four or as smart as Tony. It just wasn’t a major focus, but that’s not a bad thing. It grounded Peter and assured Peter that protecting people on the ground despite not being widely respected as an avenger isn’t such a bad thing. It’s very realistic btw. A child nor adult wants to be treated as insignificant. For Peter, Spider-Man and being an Avenger was a way to be more important and useful than just helping people in New York. Peter has had issues in the comics of feeling competent and has done things before to supplement that, all because he thought his Peter Parker life was insignificant. In HomeComing, it shows that it’s just as important as it is to be spider-man and not only that but help the little guy. The people who were just like him. Amazing writing 🤳🤳🤳. That being said, I am blessed to be alive to have seen all 3 iterations of my favorite super hero come together. I’ve had tears from Peter and Doc in the final scene of spider-man 2, I cried when Peter lost Gwen in amazing spider-man 2. I cried when Peter lost May. It’s been a journey and I hope one day the spider-man war ends. Have your preference but the hate gotta stop man. It’s the opposite of what spider-man stands for.

But when you go to ANY popular Toby Maguire Spidey clip, the comments are just full of people trashing Tom or calling him Iron Boy Jr, not even fairly comparing the two. Holland fans are just in for the ride, trying to have fun and enjoy their character, while Tobey fans (not all of them) seem just bent on always asserting how superior their opinion is, and hating on Tom's movies for stupid reasons

This battle is one of my favorite scenes in "Homecoming". Tom looks so helplessly semiconscious as the Vulture suspends him in the air. Why the Vulture was so greedy as to ignoring his wingsuit is beyond me. Notice Spiderman had lost his left web shooter in the fight over the plane, which I didn't notice at first. Besides sketching him on the ground while warning the vulture that the wings were about to explode, I'm trying to capture the ending when he's sitting on the top of the Cyclone. Tom looks exhausted as he should after the long battle, starting with the seminal scene when he lifts the rubble of the building off him. He proved he was Spiderman and worthy of the suit Tony gave him at the conclusion.
