In the classic comics no. Venom actually mentions that the symbiote never amped Spider-Man. Only in more recent stories does he get amped and should only apply to those specific stories

I don’t think people are ready to accept cosmic level Spider-Man even though you shown videos where Captain Uni Spidey got killed by Morlun kin who scale to Morlun.
