honestly, my biggest dissapointment with spidey and chasm is the lack of cancelable skills, all they needed were 1 or 2 cancelable skills and they would be so much stronger. I honestly dont get it, jean grey a pvp power house has 4 out of her 5 skills that can be canceled, and spider man with a new uniform in 2023 being the newest t4 has none... its like netmarble has to take a promising update and make it worse with bad decisions, because why not...

In this video exactly Alex said that this uni is SLIGHTLY better than the last 2 synergy unis and I can assure you that it’s selling like hotcakes. Maybe, just maybe , NM is catching on to skill cancels and is phasing that out. Essentially skill cancel is sort of a glitch in a sense, maybe they dont want you to do this anymore. I wont put it past a company that has such a pay to play incentive in this game.

Glad for Chasm to be so good, and we needed another good speed villain. At first my thoughts were that Gorr should've been a speed type native t3. Whenever I play with him his skills are just so fast paced.

Hey Alex. When seeing if there needs to be a ‘buff Spider-man’ can you see if his passive triggers? I swear I have seen multiple times where his hp goes below 50% and no heal. Half the time I don’t even see invisibility trigger. I could be missing something, but when I was testing I didn’t see it.

The problem with Spidey is 3 things: 1) His skills get weirdly cancelled too easily. 2) His 4th skill ignore i-frame doesn't stay as long as his NWH 4th skill. 3) Immunity on 3 missing definitely matters. They fix that and he'll be perfect.

I just seen a video where their lvl 70 spider-man was given a custom gear of (authority). One shot Gore with skill 4 and one shot Phoenix with skill 5. Team was Maya lead, instant switch to Spider-man, with White Fox as support.(I'm assuming you could use Chasm or any other support last since you probably will not use the character). It wasn't played on auto play. They just ran away from Gore's initial attack then one shot with skill 4. Did the same thing when Gore woke up. Ran from Phoenix then one shot skill 5. Then again on her wake up. Third final character insignificant.

This update is a mixed bag but I think the devs messed up mainly Spiderman he has the lowest state bump from T4 significantly less then the other T4, he needs some native decrease damage to have a chance against his counter hulk and also his skills are awkward he should have at least one insta cancelable skill on his 1-5. Hopefully they buff him especially the pathetic T4 state bump because I love spidey would be great if they did the character Justice like they did to Jean.

If Spidey just had one instant cancellable skill it would be a big dub. From my testing at LVL 70, he manages to be a fair amount better in PVE and PVP, but not by a lot. It’s Spidey though so I’m definitely gonna T4 😂

I have t4 spiderman with brilliant destruction and I'm sad to say but he's trash(not literally) in pve and pvp, in pvp he gets smoked by jean and hulk (sometimes gorr too), yeah sometimes you can kill jean grey but then she revives and does 2nd skill and it's game over for spidey And for pve side, he isn't very proc friendly and if you try to use him with proc than you have to choose either get proc early or do different rotation with less no. Of hits He does some reasonable amount of dmg at t4 with brilliant des but shadowshell would definitely be better than him with same build

Spidey T4 uniform is probably the laziest design that Netmarble could come up with since it's not that different from his default uni, design wise. At least Cap and Iron man make sense since their default uni was taken from the movie instead of straight from the comics.

Scarlett spider and chasm have almost same t2 passive except chasm gets 10% more skill damage and bonus damage, the only reason to buy chasm is for looks and abx.

3c4dc5 does work with Spidey, but the timing is really tricky. The timing on Spidey's Skill 4 is really tricky. You basically have to delay until you see him zipping mid-air A SECOND TIME. This is important. Do Skill 4, wait until he zips sideways mid-air a second time, then cancel into Skill 5. That gets you the damage you want. At T3 Lvl 70, he's pretty good against WBL, but not amazing like Miles. But I imagine Spidey gets even better at Lvl 76 or Lvl 80. Also, since Spidey is a Speed type, he claps Mephisto HARD, even at Lvl 70, since Mephisto's a Blast type.

@@knull9499 Proc doesn't just come from custom gears, no? It also comes from skills and ISO set bonuses. IIRC, Spidey's Skill 6 has a built in proc. 6c3c4dc5 does massive damage even with my build that is unoptimal for PvE. So yeah, my Spidey build is awful for PvE, but it still got the job done. I imagine better builds with proper CTPs would be even better.
