I had expected NSP would use the Tom Holland 'Uncharted' collab skin as a "casual clothes Peter Parker" the moment I saw it in the item shop. But I didn't expect them to use it for only 5 minutes and then... huh. That was unexpected. Did NSP have to write out the MCU Peter Parker because the voice actor is leaving? Or because the season is ending in 3 weeks and Epic will likely remove the Spiderman webshooter item from the game and the Daily Bugle from the Island map? But they could've just let him and MCU M.J. be rifted back home!

2:08 Wait, Midas killed Carnage... for real, and he and Jules retrieved the Light that Carnage had stolen from them, back in Ch2S8?? When did that happen?? Which episode? And _how_ did Midas manage to kill Carnage, while being depowered? If the first time he tried to turn Carnage to gold only resulted in the symbiote absorbing the Golden Touch, and then Carnage actively followed Midas back to Catty Corner and sucked most of the Light from Midas and Jules and into the staff he created from his substance. And then Midas kind of just gave up and told Chimpanski he'd retire now because he was now "useless" in the fight against the Cube Queen without his Light. So how did that change? And did Midas get back most of the Light, as it originally was, or does Jules still have most of it (as she had after Midas Rex transfered it to her when I.O. was controlling his body, so she would be more powerful than him, and he wouldn't be as useful to the I.O. as a tool)? It's time Midas takes up the mantle of God of the Light and Protector of the Island again. Jules has other things going on, and she never wanted the Golden Light. But Midas lost his Agency and his agents and powerbase, and with so many other superpowered beings around nobody will take him seriously if he'd just some skinny guy in a waistcoat. Sure, Midas is a certified genius but without access to any labs or factories to build technology he can't be a gadgeteer, and without a spy network he can't be a spymaster, so... what's left?

Epic has announced a new Fortnite X Marvel collab comic series starting in June 2022, which will feature Agent Jones and Tony Stark, Wolverine, Spiderman, Shuri from Wakanda, and a Fortnite character who might be one of "the Sisters" of the Seven, treasure hunting on Marvel Earth for a shard of the Zero Point. That would be perfect for NSP to bring back Lara Croft and have her and Midas go with them on a treasure hunt in the jungle, racing against the I.O. to find the shard. But sadly, I doubt Epic'S and Marvel's collab comic will feature Midas, so the plot will be solved by those characters, and I'm not sure NSP can insert more actual Fortnite characters and make them relevant if Epic resolves that plotline officially by having the Marvel characters solve everything.

I wonder if NSP will bring in Gambit and Rogue from the X-Men, now that the in-game skins are out? Or if they will wait to see how Epic ends the Chapter 3 Season 1 plot, and postpone the arrival of Gambit and Rogue for Chapter 3 Season 2 or until June when the Fortnite X Marvel Zero War comic issue #1 drops? Right now, Gambit and Rogue dont really fit into the plot. Shoehorning them in just for a cameo so close to the season end, which should concentrate on the Imagined Order vs the Seven storyline, might be a distraction and a waste of two X-Men characters.
