A few years back I gave my go at Peter Frances Spider-Man swing (uploaded the video on my channel) but it made me realise character animation could be the area I’m most interested in. Despite being incredibly hard to emulate the human bodies movements without much education on the body but it feels so rewarding to see your hard work pay off. I’ve recently done some of the most realistic character animation I’ve ever done by basically rotoscoping

Awesome work! I'm currentlyy working on a fan feature of Supergirl using a combination of the technique you used here for digi doubles and more hi res character creator versions.

You can use photoscanning instead with apps on your phone or a camera. But the results aren't going to be as good

sir how to export abc file on blender cg camera to seen export in NUKE for any shots class sir@@AlfieVaughan
@AlfieVaughan11 ай бұрын
You have to plug all the things you want to export from nuke into a scene node (geo, camera etc.) and then use a writeGeo node plugged into the scene. Put a .ABC on the end of the path to export alembic and then just click export and set it to the length of your shot to export all animation

How did you take the HDRI? Great shot and explanation.
@AlfieVaughan11 ай бұрын
Thanks a lot! It was taken using a 6.5mm fish eye lens on a tripod with my Sony a7iii. I used the internal bracketed exposure setting to take 5 bracketed photos. Then I rotated the tripod head 90 degrees and did the same another 3 times so I had a full 360. Then I used PTGui to merge the photos into an HDR as well as stitching the 4 angles together. Hope that helps!
@EdDePew11 ай бұрын
@@AlfieVaughan certainly does, The result looked really good. I know it's archaic but I was getting ready to shoot with a mirror ball just to try out shooting HDRI. My buddy has an a7siii we're using for a shoot soon, so we might try that out. I assume the fisheye allows you to not have to look up and down as much so you can just take 4 angles?
@AlfieVaughan11 ай бұрын
@EdDePew Mirror balls still work, this way is just a bit easier and produces a better result. Worth trying! Yeah the fish eye just makes it quicker
@EdDePew11 ай бұрын
@@AlfieVaughan I'll see the results from the ball this weekend. Currently just looking for something to get started with before being highly technical with it.
