Girl, I just got back from a road trip from Seattle to Tofino on Vancouver Island with my sister and while we were waiting in a long ass ferry line, a little yellow spider dropped down from my visor!!! Right in front of me. I don't know how the freak it got in the car. We had been hiking a few times in Seattle so maybe we brought it in on us but however it got in, that little thing scared the crap out of me. I screamed and jumped out the car. I wouldn't get back in until my sister had killed it, which took forever because she was laughing so hard. I didn't even care. So yeah, I get your freak out.

Spiders are living in my shed where I live also. They do whatever that's their business unless I see them in my way then I will catch and take them outside. I do not want to kill anything. Even snakes were right in front of my feet, I just watch them went by. I do the same thing with all the living things.

Two comments for two different episodes. From an Oregonian. Your Dad is right it is fire season, a fire could start in the middle of the night from a lightening strike near you. Especially Eastern Oregon but in August it could happen anywhere in the states. Second comment (I don’t know if it would work with your situation. But they have these wall plugs that send out a super sonic signal (technical term) and keep spiders away. I have one next to my bed. It works really well.

Ive been concerned since you posted about the spider! Thanks for the update. Glad your alive! My dog is not a morning pup, shes always sleepy till its time to go outside. They realy are the best companions, shes my co-pilot, like Blue ❤️🐾❤️

I completely understand you when it comes to bugs. Eww.. weird true story. When I lost my hair to chemo I didn’t fear bugs as bad. I never put one and one together but it’s a fear that a bug will get caught in my hair.

I'm sure you cherish his good health, little ears perking up at your voice. My little baby can't hear anymore and has a few other ailments (but she's so stoic anyway) so i have fond memories of her earlier days. 🥺 Always love seeing pups being so carefree and fit. Totes get that agitated/annoyed mood pups can have sometimes. My Nina does this pretty much all the time now that she's older. 😆

I bought a child's bug collecting kit at the $ store that I use for insect transportation. My mother had a live & let live attitude about spiders (we didn't have brown recluses then in MI, now they're moving north!). I had a friend over for a sleepover & as I was telling her not to worry about the spiderwebs a spider descended right in between us.

Oh just thought about it. Reserve some of the ice in a ziplock bag in the cooler for your iced coffee when you refill cause the cooler ice gets a little bit dirty generally. Or you can buy some of those fake ice things on Amazon. I think they’ll be cold in there.

That’s scary. I had a wolf spider right in my face once climbing up a cliff at a swimming hole. It scared the bleep out of me. My reaction was to slap it out of my way:) If fell into the water underneath me and made a splash. It was huge. You are way tougher than I am I would have called an exterminator:)

If that spider situation happened to me you wouldn’t be able to pay me to get back in there! I was staying out in BC like 20 years ago and wolf spiders were everywhere. In my bed, in my clothes, etc. I was so arachnophobic back then it was super traumatic. Thankfully like ten years of therapy later, I am able to be around spiders… ok no, I can get rid of spiders.

I’m LMAO watching this video because I feel the same way. I also have a spider phobia. If I see a spider in my room (especially if it’s big and gnarly) I have to kill it or get it out of my room. If I’m uncertain that I got it, let’s just say it’s a long restless night.

I hate spiders! I'd rather deal with a wasp or hornet anything but a hairy legged spider ugh. I am surprised you didn't have an accident when that nasty thing climbed out basically in your face lol. Hey you need to get you one of those portable blenders thats cordless until you have to charge it up but it would be perfect to grind you some ice for your fancy coffee.
