People forget that Denzel danced and acted keeping everyone's attention for over three hours without boring. He is good at keeping you totally immersed in the story and the character he portrays. To this day I believe that Malcolm X was his best performance and the movie the best biopic ever made...
@jpolwenyАй бұрын
Agree, but I have always said his next best movie was "Cry Freedom" about South African icon Steve Biko (before Nelson Mamdela became famous).

His crown jewel is his lesser known film, Bamboozled with Tommy Davidson and Damon Wayans, but Malcolm X is a great film

That film is so important to black men. Showed it to my 18 year old son when he was 9& it’s still his favorite movie like it is mine.

When I was young Spike Lee films were very special events. These films were for us. I was always grateful. The ending of Malcolm X with Nelson Mandela was magic.

Spike should've went to the company that was holding the film and bought it from under Warner Brothers. That could've really been a game changer.

True believers have cursed God at one point or another. However, I feel that God appreciates that when that happens. In most situations, you only get mad at God because you’re hurt and disappointed for something that may seem unfair in your life. You get upset because you feel like he let you down. That means that you really do have faith in God. You wouldn’t be so hurt or upset if you didn’t. Most don’t get mad at the devil because you know he’s evil and cunning. And you expect that from him at all times. Every good human with a good heart will question God at one point or another.

Other than the head in the toilet scene, Malcolm X movie was awesome. That Chiraq movie was bullshit!🤣🤣
@kazamshah4543Ай бұрын
Yeah, I never did like that scene. My favourite scene from the movie? The part where Malcolm learns about what became of the old gang from his youth. One of his friends dies of a heart attack after making love to a babe 25 years his junior. Oh man, I couldn't stop laughing at the scene with him lying on top with her screaming. Well, can you think of a better way to go?
