I have the 100’s. Very impressed. Instant upgrade.

Yeah, that's great to hear👍 and a fairly common story, it seems, which is wonderful for all of us who have his speaker isolation. I just give wonderful praise to Theo at Stack Audio for coming up with what I think is a revolutionary product that everybody who is serious about their stereo systems should be trying. Thank you for letting me know that's great to hear 🙂🎧👍

@@shanestephenson8423 So impressed. I also got the system isolators too. Shocked at how good it now sounds tbh.

Sound like they are a big improvement in your system. I hope I get a similar level of improvement that you have. My isolators will sit on granite bases. If I think there is more improvement to be gained I will order some spikes.

Excellent congratulations. I'm sure you'll be happy these things work on every speaker I've tried them on so far. It's been a real noticeable improvement everywhere. Please let me know how you go. 👍🙂🎧

Just a quick clarification. If you're going to be putting them on granite bases, you won't need the spikes just let Josh know to install the felt bases on the bottom which is what they do if you have hard floors.👍🎧

can't what to start building my system finally got my goals set to achieve said goals it gonna take lots of power and cone area money and time
@shanestephenson84238 ай бұрын
Awesome Daniel that's the best way to do it. One step at a time, that's what my grandfather used to say to me when I was a kid I was so impatient and wanted everything right then and there I said, "How am I going to do all this?" He said, "How do you eat an elephant, Shane. I said, "I don't know. "One bite at a time."👍🙂🎧

Can you help me understand how big the impact is of the AUVA EQ under the heart of you’re system: amp, dac and streamer? Like adding SR purple fuses in the equipment?
@suwatt60198 ай бұрын
I just received my set of EQ's yesterday and sent this to a hifi friend: I'm kinda dumbfounded right now listening to my system. All the source components have been Auva'd. How can there be MORE bass coming out? Like I didn't get new speakers or adjust the EQ. Everything is more sparkly and holographic and the system sounds more "at ease". It's a big impact.

Hi Nick OK let's talk about what I've got so far. I've got EQs underneath both my mpd 8 and mpt 8. I also have them under my turntable, and two holding my ether region switch off the rack. As you know, I've just put the Auva 100s underneath my Wilsons. The difference for me is night and day!!! I've never heard a fuse do anywhere near that kind of improvement to my system. In fact, even when I upgraded to all of the silver cables I now run in my system, it made a difference but not like the Auva's have. I've built platforms for my mono blocks Amps to go on, and I've ordered enough Auva EQ's to go under every other component in my system. They are on their way over from the UK. So keep on watching your bound to hear the results they bring to my system as I put them under each component. But so far, all I can say is this is something you can't unhear once you've heard it. 👍🙂🎧

tell us why 4 small bags with sand would not work?
@shanestephenson84232 ай бұрын
@quant2011 Hi there, yes sand will work in your little bags but not like the Stack Audio footers will. There's a few reasons why one is the proprietary composite material that Stack used which is much more efficient at converting vibrational energy into heat than sand can, and further to that you can't mount 4 metal spikes to that bag of sand to stop the baffle from moving. You can with the Stack Audio footers, and while that is not as important in the lower octave of a subwoofer, it's critical under speakers to stop the smearing of the sound stage.👍🎧🙂

@@shanestephenson8423 thanks for your reply. but its possible to make small platforms on spikes and place sand bag on it. Or the ultimate method, put four 20 kilo sand /salt bags under each speaker - i dont know if they are able to move sitting on something like this!
@shanestephenson84232 ай бұрын
@quant2011 Micro movements of the front baffle make a huge difference to imaging and soundstage focus. I've never seen a homemade remedy like that actually work effectively. As I said in my above message, the proprietary material in the Stack Audio footers are far more efficient at turning energy into heat than sand or salt can.

@@shanestephenson8423 solution is to attach 3cm thick slate to the front baffle. i cannot imagine this will vibrate. or panzerholz wood. or better: decouple drivers from the baffle enitrely- vivid audio trick
