love the first but then again I saw it at the movies on a school trip in either 6th or 7th grade so, ultimate nostalgia

It came out during the Shrek craze. The whole anti-fairy tale era. Happily N'Ever After, Chicken Little, Ella Enchanted, Enchanted...

@@ECL28E Yeah and the real bonehead move was that Hoodwinked 2 came out after the last Shrek movie (at the time we are getting a Shrek 5 in 2026) but yeah the modern-twist on fairy tales was so out of here by 2011 and even Happily Never After 2 came out before this so this was just a dumb cash grab.
