kinda makes me want to get into bingo, got all achievements and 112% ed steel soul but learning all the speedrun skips for bingo must be miserable

Its not miserable. The amount of skips used commonly is actually quite small. Of the top of my head the most common ones are, fireball skips (completely optional), blue lake shade skip (gives early dream nail/ right city access), and acid skips. Acid skips are by far the hardest skips to learn in vanilla bingo but dont take to long and muscle memory can develop really quickly. While there are quite a few skips that are very usefull you dont need to know all of them to start, you can just route around them and learn them as your progress. Knowing skips is by no way a requirement to play bingo (atleast not as competitive as shown above).
