Andrew thanks for the info on video poker tournaments. It was great understanding the odds of winning. It was nice to see your kids race and play soccer. Tough luck for your son when the other kid ran into him at the beginning of the race. I went to the Brian Christopher video and watched you play. It was nice to see you, Jack Pot Gents, and Kelly as well. I much prefer video poker to slots but I do admit I watch Vegas Matt. It was fun watching you do a group pull. Thanks for this video. I really enjoyed it.

My guess is taking advantage of the free play and comps finally ran out. I said a year ago that one day the casinos will cut it since no large sums of money are being lost out of pocket. Sad to see because I really enjoyed your VP content for several years. Hope to see a new video pop up yet this summer. Maybe even just an update for the 22,000 followers like me who enjoyed the ride. Thanks

@slotmassacre Question on strategy. When you have A-10 suited plus 1 non-suited Face Card, why not hold the A-10 suited? Are we conceding the possibility of a royal flush in favor of just trying to win the hand by drawing Jack’s or better?
@Brandon-ge9to2 ай бұрын
in a tournament yes for the first stage of it, you absolutely would want to concede the possibility of a royal for a more likely hit. 15 points > 0, which is why he brought up speed in the equation at the start. People doing that for lets say 15 seconds, slot massacre would hit 15 * how many hands in that 15 seconds vs someone doing that strat hitting (1/40000)* how many hands with more than likely possibility of that just being ( 0 * x). The odds on hitting that royal is something like 1 in 40k. When you're early stages you would want to guarantee safe placement first, then when its last day and lets say you're safely in the money, that's when you would implement the strategy of going for the royal because that can push you from like 5th to 1st in a hand. Either way you still make your money back + some, thats when you would implement that strategy and it is still arguably better to go with the initial drawing jacks.

I used to be a fan of Bryon Christopher’s years ago. He lives in Palm Springs where I live. I gave him one of my products that I make and sell. We were at the same bar and he was very very rude to me. I am no longer a fan. Basically he told me to leave him alone. I was just trying to make conversation we were at a bar anyway just not the nicest person like he comes off on camera, so it kind of disappointed that you are with him on KZbin. because I think you are great anyway, just a thought

I'm sorry to hear that you had a bad experience with Bryon Christopher. He's one of those bad apples that will act nice on camera and completely the opposite off camera but what those bad apples don't realize is their nothing without the views and the subscribers and should treat everyone with respect

Andrew said flat up at 1:30 if he scored 13,000 it was worth it to drive down the two hours round trip from Mesquite to Vegas to play in the tournament. He got only a little above 8,000 so decided to spend it with his kids instead.

Brian Christopher is a millionaire, he has been making KZbin videos for 8 years. He started in 2016. I used to watch his channel, then he stopped playing video poker, I wasn’t a fan anymore. I watched from 2019 to 2022.😊🎉Great memories. I just not a fan of slot machines, players lose too much money, video poker is better.❤

Q, of course leave it out if it's too personal. Ive been watching these and have an interest in video poker Im curious if you've ever had to reload your bankroll for poker. (whatever it is I assume it's a good deal given how large you play)/ my question is if you've ever gone bust essentially and had to take money from other areas of your life to support the play? Just curious, intellectually right, like the math of what you're doing - if you care to answer? good luck.

Why do you play VP tournaments, Andrew? As a long-time fan of yours, it seems to me that you'd win more spending the time in solo play.
@LuckyLegionPoker5 ай бұрын
Not to speak for Andrew but my takeaway from what he explained is he has a huge advantage over most of those that entered the competition. Between the clueless players, touch screen players, the experienced but average speed players, he only has a handful of competition. High probability he’s going to walk away with money placing anywhere above a certain rank. Just another stream to win money using the advantages he has which seems just slightly higher than the pure RNG of vp machines

for one thing casinos have tightened EVERY Game after covid .and travel expenses thru the roof . this means heavier losses for smaller channels ... if your channel dont blast to 100k subs relatively quick, you will be stuck in a glut , possibly forever ... so many have just abandoned their channels. within the last year or so. as wild inflation continues to rampage only the multi-million trust fund babies and scam artist business types can drum up the big subs . for the small fry , they'll lose $5k simply to get a $2000 handpay... those economics rapidly burn your roll .
